The Cargo Bike Shop Reviews
I had my e-bike tuned up by a different mechanic in town, and he said the only thing he couldn't fix was swapping out the break pads because he didn't have the parts.Cargo tried to oversell me on more repairs I didn't need, and in the end, charged close to $100 for parts and labor just to change the break pads, which was more than the tune up I got from a different mechanic. They were very vague about when they would finish and it took a week, I expected it to be a same day repair.
May 05, 2025 · Bernadette BenoitI have two electric cargo bikes and this is the only place I have them serviced. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They always let you know exactly what repairs you need as well as options so you can make the best decisions for your situation. I purchased studded tires for winter riding from them, and they store my regular tires for me, which is super handy! They are incredibly knowledgeable about the bikes they sell, and even do assembly and service on bikes they don’t sell (sometimes, reach out to them first). All around excellent bike shop. I highly recommend them!
Jan 09, 2023 · Mary PustejovskyTim is amazing. What a great advocate to have for cargo bikes in our city. With anything a business offers, customer service is first, which is exactly what you will get, an amazing customer experience from Tim. If you want to get out of your car and experience the city in the best way possible with your family, go see Tim.
Aug 14, 2018 · Jacob FoleyUnprofessional, dishonest employees with no sense of urgency. Had a bike there for 3 months and they didn’t fix it. Lied to me about having ordered parts. Picked up the bike in an even greater state of disrepair than when it was dropped off. Employees became rude and hostile towards me and my wife once we expressed our dissatisfaction with their poor customer service. I took my bike to another shop an hour further away from my house. I strongly suggest going somewhere else for repairs
Sep 21, 2024 · SteveAndTami CTim provided me amazing customer service when I was shopping for the right cargo bike for my family. He was incredibly detailed and thorough in his quote and explanations. If you want to work with people who are extremely knowledgeable about cargo bikes and love what they do, I highly recommend working with The Cargo Bike Shop staff.
