High Trails Cyclery Bike Shop Reviews
I can’t say enough good things about High Trails Cyclery. I had just arrived in the Bay Area when my rental car was broken into and nearly all of my biking gear was stolen. Total nightmare—until I walked into this shop.Luis went above and beyond to help me get back on the trail. He helped me piece together a full set of gear—pants, socks, chamois, shoes, gloves—everything I needed from what they had in-store. Not only was he knowledgeable, but he was also genuinely sympathetic about what happened and even offered me a discount to help ease the blow. Thanks to Luis and the team, I was able to salvage my trip and still get in some amazing riding. I’d recommend High Trails Cyclery to anyone visiting the area—especially mountain bikers. Great people, great shop. 10/10.
Apr 25, 2025 · Reilly AguiarI rented the Cervelo Soloist from High Trails Cyclery to race the Escape from Alcatraz triathlon. The staff was very responsive and helpful. When I initially made the reservation, it was for the Cervelo Caledonia. However, about a month before the race, they reached out and stated that the Caledonia was stolen and they had the Soloist in its place. I had test ridden the Soloist before purchasing my bike and found it a little too aggressive for me. The staff agreed to place a couple of spacers in to make it a more comfortable bike. When I arrived to pick up the bike, everything was ready as they promised. They placed it on the trainer and adjusted it for appropriate fit. I was very happy with the bike, the quality and the service. Highly recommend this shop, the bike and the crew!
Jun 12, 2025 · Kim SI brought two bikes in here to have them fixed and I'm very happy with the service. The repairs were done efficiently and well, and the staff was extremely helpful. Great neighborhood shop - conveniently located along a bike lane!
Mar 23, 2025 · Robin IsaacsonThank you to the team at High Trails. Marcel and Sandy went above and beyond to show us the lay of the land. They emboldened us to go beyond our comfort zone. And we were grateful for that experience. Recommend 100%
Jan 18, 2024 · Lester LaiI was in SF for a week and had an afternoon to be able to go ride. I found Norcal Flow Mountain Biking Tours and Marcel and couldn't have been happier about my find. Marcel is very knowledgeable about the trails, the bikes, the bike fit, everything. He picked me up from my hotel I was in and brought me to Mt. Tamarancho to ride. He knew all the trails and gave me riding lessons as he saw things that I can improve on. Marcel even took pictures along the way and sent them to me after. I highly recommend using this company if you are looking for local knowledge and a great riding partner.
