Ace Wheelworks Reviews
The store isn't nearly as large as the one in Belmont and I was fortunate when I stopped in that there were few customers. All the personnel was extremely kind and went out of their way to help me determine what kind of bike would best suit my needs. They let me ride around the block with a half a dozen different models until I picked two that seem like they would be the best fit. I still have to make a final decision which is a bit of a challenge for me. Put all the people that I interacted with knew their bikes and bicycles in general and were able to give me technical advice that was not superfluous. Of course through their computer system they're also able to check on the stocks available at the Belmont shop.Great people I highly recommend this place many thanks 🙏

Not trying to waste their time I got straight to the point of what was the lowest priced e-bike that they had and I was shown one for $1500+. It was a bulky fat tire 60lbs+ bike which is fine but I just checked out one similar with a removable battery and it was $200+ less.Again staff is friendly but even in the past when I came here with my regular bike their prices were above average even for a flattened tire. My current star rating is based off the price and limited choices for E-bikes around $1000 and slightly more but not a huge price jump esp when they have such a large space and could have more options of E-bikes in my opinion. However it's not up to me but something to consider.
Jun 07, 2025 · Lolita LGo to the Belmont Store instead. Is this technically a bike store? Yes. Do they have the parts you need? Likely not. They will have to ship it from the Belmont store anyway so just go there. And it's hard to get a service appointment here, while at the Belmont store they have more staff to help.Maybe if you have a standard city bicycle this is a fine store, but if you have a more specialty bike like a road bike or a mountain bike, you should just go to the Belmont Location.
Jun 05, 2025 · Greg lDo not have your bike serviced here. I asked them to service my wheels on a bike I bought from them. I asked for new rim tape, and new tubes on both wheels. They charged me for it, and it was never done. I only found out because I got a flat and was going to change the tire and noticed that my patches from before the service were still on the wheels and tubes (which they reused). I'm very disappointed because I spent a lot of money on a service that was not performed. Pictures attached of the wheels after they supposedly replaced the rim tape and tubes on both my front and back wheel. I'll do my own work going forward, or use a different LBS.
Jun 05, 2024 · Shaun “Shaun386” MalzadehI came in on Friday morning, and they very quickly diagnosed the issue (needed a new screw for the rear derailleur attachment point), and helped me out right then and there. It was quick, fair pricing, great service. Would recommend!!!
