Cambridge Bicycle Reviews
Brought my 10 year old bike in for a clean & tune and to have a few things replaced. The tune and repair took a few hours. When I picked it up it looked and rode like new. Knowledgeable mechanics could tell what was worn and needed replacing pretty quickly. Did the job professionally and finished when promised. Would bring my business back here in the future. The new price for the tune up seems a bit expensive, but they were able to honor the lower price I had seen advertised.
Jun 06, 2025 · Matt HuberBrought my specialized bike in for a regular tune and to clean out the hydraulic brakes. The mechanic replaced the entire brake line with no real explanation, and my brakes have sounded like a dying goose ever since. I paid quite a bit for this service and ended up having to take my bike for service elsewhere to find out there was oil leaking onto the disc. Not pleased with this service or experience
May 31, 2025 · Lauren PlanasDo not trust this bike shop with your bike - especially with nice bikes. I took my bike in for cassette cleaning and to install new disc breaks. Upon picking up my bike a piece of my bike (an axle key, branded with my bike brand) was missing. They also did not properly clean the rotor before installing the new disc brake pads (which contaminates the brake pads) . Additionally the brake pads were not correctly installed (see noises in video). The shop not only had incredibly rude customer service (including hanging up on me multiple times, telling me never to call back again when I said I was bringing my bike in so they could correct the issues, and threatening me), they denied even the possibility of this being their fault, made misogynistic comments, and did not propose a resolution or respond to the resolution I proposed. When I said I was going to bring my bike in for them to fix the issue again and correctly install the brake pads, the shop said "if you come in we will arrest you".Do not take your business here. It's a shame that I tried to support a local business and had this terrible of an experience. This is a terrible bike shop -- and I have had multiple friends confirm that they've had similar experiences.
May 03, 2024 · Cathryn HerbstHorrible customer service. I made an appointment for the date and time they gave me for a “while you wait” complimentary service after purchasing a bike. I purchased 2 for $1600. I dropped off the bikes and told them I was going across the street for lunch and would be back in an hour. When I came back I was told by the “ manager “ they got busy and to come back in 4 hours! I had driven over 100 miles from New Hampshire. Why they were taking “walk-ins” instead of me is probable explained by the “complimentary “ service as opposed to a fee. No reasons, no apology no remorse. Why can’t I rate them 0 stars?
Apr 29, 2025 · Joseph AlipertiA pedal on my bike got loose, and Jeff, Owen and Rob took great care of me immediately at a great price. Jeff in particular was extremely knowledgeable and explained lots about the parts and bike design, and is clearly an expert. Thanks so much for the great chat and quick fix, trust them with your bike!
