Columbus Cyclery Reviews
Had a flat with my son on a city bike ride. Staff helped me with finding a compatible tube and eventually helped putting it on as I realized I did not have the Allen key needed to unmount the wheel on my son's bike. Staff was super kind and helpful and even fine tune/realign a derailleur that they noticed was bent from a previous bike crash :-). Super reasonably priced, helpful, all I need from a local bike store

More important, Bruno and his team provide exemplary service and support.Go to Yelp for my full review of Columbus Cyclery.During my visits to the shop, Bruno and one of his mechanics (Jay) were always very welcoming, courteous, and extremely patient in answering all of my bike-related questions (including several questions that bordered on geeky). In addition to the courtesy consistently extended to me, I greatly appreciate the relatively fast turnaround on bike tune-ups.If you have a need for a new or used bike, a bike rental, a bike tune-up, or a quick bike fix, check out Columbus Cyclery. My recommendation definitely applies if you want to bring an older or lower-end bike in for a tune-up or fix and you wish to avoid the possibility of dealing with snobby, unsupportive shop owners, managers, and mechanics. My recommendation also applies if you simply want to indulge your inner bike geek and check out a large collection of new and older/vintage bikes from various manufacturers.

Jul 05, 2025 · Paulo Desiderio MenesesExcellent service, they can fix any bike, no matter if it's electric. This is the first time I've been received very kindly in a store, recommended for anyone who wants to be treated well and with good 5-star service.
Mar 02, 2025 · Roberto AcevedoDO NOT BUY HERE!!! Had to go to ER and waiting for the 5k bill because of the bike malfunction. Second time riding the bike I bought in SF, not downhill, not high speed less than 10mph, the front wheel stopped/slowed down for no reason and the bike flipped over, throwing me into the air and crashed on my belly. Cannot stand up for 5 min because the organs inside my belly hurt so much. major injuries on my arms too. Later I felt that I want to vomit and had to go to ER to get CT and multiple x rays.We took the bike later to the shop and the owner insisted nothing was wrong. We were not seeking liability for my medical bills and only asking for a refund for the price we paid for and the owner denied all responsibility and only accepted buy back at 50% of the price we paid, for a bike that was bought only for a month and used twice!! After much negotiation he agreed to buyback at 70%. Now waiting for my $5k ER visit bill (after insurance)DO NOT BUY HERE UNLESS you want to be pay $5k in ER visit
