Pedego Electric Bikes Harrisburg Reviews
So much fun! James was great at explaining everything and making sure we were comfortable. We had a beautiful ride along the Susquehanna!! Highly recommend!
May 12, 2025 · HWe rented two bikes today for two hours and it was our first time using e-bikes. The staff was very helpful and taught us how to use them. The bikes were comfortable and easy to control. They also gave us helmets to use too. The bikes were in good condition, we would rent from here again.
May 10, 2025 · Seth BorkovecHi Everyone,I normally don't write reviews but felt I had to share my great experience with the local Pedego Bike Shop in Downtown Harrisburg. I just recently bought the black Element model with blue rims and can't say enough about the bike. I highly recommend this bike shop.Let me tell you about my experience. I first met Drew and his lovely mom at their booth during the Kipona Labor day event this year on City Island. I stopped by on Saturday with my wife and then came back on Monday to visit their booth again. From there Drew and his mom invited me to stop by for a free test ride. The day that I went to take that first test ride at the shop, Drew went over all of the details and options for the bike. He showed me the necessary instructions on the throttle, pedal assist, the brakes and the control panel that I need to know before I went on my free test ride.He then gave me directions on where to go to ride the bike. At that point I realized he wasn't going with me since he was the only one there in the shop.I am 63 and haven't rode a bike since I was a teenager. I was literally shaking inside my body not knowing what to expect riding in rush hour traffic by myself for the first time on an e-bike.Drew sensed my nervousness and asked me if I wanted him to go with me? I told him that I didn't' want him to close the shop just for me, but he said without hesitation, "the store will be ok for a little without me." Who does that!! Very impressed at this point! It made all the difference in the world for me when he decided to ride with me. We got outside and he told me to just push off and give it some throttle and start peddling. Then off I went and never looked back. It turned out to be a great experience not knowing what to expect my first time out after not riding a bike for 44 years! What a great experience riding along the river in Harrisburg. I was thinking at first, if this doesn't go right, I may end up in the water...LOL! But nothing happened, it felt like being a kid again and had no issues riding the bike. I amazed myself. It took me a couple of days to make a decision to purchase the bike and had a hard time deciding on the color whether blue or all blacked out? So, what did Drew do to close the deal, he told me he had already ordered the blue bike and he had a black one in stock but with upgraded wheels and other options which was a little higher then I wanted to go on price.Once the blue bike arrived he assembled each bike with different rim colors to make my decision easier to make. He went the extra mile for me.The other thing that sold me on Pedego was the 5 year "no excuses" warranty, which also covered theft if you buy their lock for the bike. I researched a lot of e-bikes and no other bike manufacturer had a 5 year warranty.I also bought Bike Insurance in case I have an accident or someone steals the bike when I am out riding or it's not locked up. The cost was only $9.21 per month and worth the piece of mind knowing if something out of the ordinary happens, I'm covered! In the end, Drew was patient enough to answer all of my questions and concerns for my first e-bike purchase. If you want a great bike, just stop by their local shop located on 3rd Street at Strawberry Square and get a free 1 hour test ride to make sure it is the right bike for you.Thank you "Pedego Harrisburg and Drew" for making this all happen. I look forward to a long and lasting relationship with this family owned business. Great job!!
Sep 26, 2023 · Randy LevanI picked up my new, long awaited Pedego City Commuter E-bike yesterday, 2-1-2022, and I have to say, it was well worth the wait of over six months to get the bike of my dreams.Drew Soisson was very helpful and knowledgeable with helping me get the specific bike I wanted. It's only been a short while but I am extremely pleased and satisfied with my new bike. It has the latest features and upgrades. I'm sure I will have many years of enjoyment with this bike. I am looking forward to warm, sunny days this coming Spring to get out and enjoy it.I highly recommend Pedego Harrisburg to anyone who is thinking of purchasing an electric bike. I live in Upstate New York about 190 miles away from Harrisburg, PA and for me it was well worth the drive to meet Drew and start the process of obtaining the bike from his store.Thank you, Drew, for all your help and efforts, which are much appreciated. It was a pleasure working with you.
Feb 03, 2022 · Norm PainchaudThank you Drew and Denise Soisson! We rented a Boomerang and City Commuter this past summer, on a vacation in Delaware and fell in love with biking again. The search was on for the best electric bike for our needs. Lots of research and test drives of many brands and models kept leading us back to a Pedego. The customer service at Pedego Harrisburg was fantastic. We appreciate your efforts to track down the elusive Platinum. We ended up with a mid-winter purchase of a Boomerang Platinum and Boomerang. Thanks, Drew, for staying open late to ensure our bikes were set up the way we wanted them. We already got in a chilly 11 miles and looking forward to many more.
