- Used Bike Sales: The primary service is the sale of good quality used bikes. These bikes are selected for their suitability for casual rides and everyday use, catering to individuals and families looking for dependable and affordable options.
- Personalized Bike Selection: The staff, notably Robert, excels at helping customers pick out a bike that perfectly fits their budget and intended use. They take the time to understand individual needs, ensuring a suitable match without pushing for unnecessary upgrades or expensive models.
- No-Pressure Sales Environment: Customers appreciate that there is no pressure to make a purchase. Staff members are reported to be patient in fielding inquiries and allowing customers to make decisions at their own pace, fostering a relaxed and comfortable shopping experience.
- Test Rides: A key offering that empowers customers is the ability to test ride bikes, even around the block. This hands-on experience is crucial for ensuring the bike feels right before making a commitment, allowing customers to assess comfort and fit personally.
- Free Tire Air Fills: The owner provides a valuable community service by allowing locals to come by and fill up their bike tires for free. This gesture highlights the shop's commitment to supporting local cyclists beyond just sales.
- Exchange Policy (No Returns): While direct "returns" are not offered, typical of many small businesses, the shop does allow customers to exchange a purchased bike if it's "not working out." This provides flexibility and reassurance for buyers, demonstrating a commitment to their satisfaction with the product.

- Non-Pushy Sales: A significant highlight is the absence of high-pressure sales tactics. This creates a comfortable atmosphere where customers can explore options, ask questions, and test ride bikes without feeling rushed or obligated.
- Transparency and Honesty: The shop actively addresses common concerns, such as the source of its bikes, clarifying that they do not buy bikes, which helps dispel misinformation about "stolen bikes." This transparency builds trust within the community.
- Test Ride Availability: The ability to "test ride before making any decision" and even "around the block" is a crucial feature. It allows customers to ensure the bike's fit and feel, which is essential for comfort and satisfaction, especially for casual riders.
- Support for Local Business: The shop encourages customers to "support a local small business," appealing to those who prefer to invest in their community and receive a more personalized experience than big box stores can offer.
- Variable Stock with Exchange Option: While stock is variable and always coming in, the shop offers an exchange policy if a bike "is not working out." This flexibility, combined with the advice to "check back periodically" for specific frames or heights, demonstrates a commitment to eventually satisfying customer needs.
- Free Community Service (Tire Fills): The owner's willingness to "always let me come by to fill up my bikes tires for free" is a testament to their community-minded spirit and commitment to supporting local cyclists beyond sales.

Your Community Bike Shop Reviews
Robert was great. He helped pick out a good bike within our budget for my wife. We weren’t looking for anything spectacular, just a good quality bike for casual rides. He didn’t push a sale and fielded my wife’s inquiries. He let her test ride before making any decision. We would gladly do business here again and we were happy to support a local small business.
Apr 16, 2025 · David KeirnI feel like some of these reviews might be racist? The man who runs this shop is attentive and seems like he doesn’t have much help running it. It is cluttered, but other than that the experience is fine. Might take longer to find what you’re looking for but they try their best to get you what you want and need. Even letting you test ride the bikes around the block. They do have receipts, they are just electronic, so you have to text or email it to yourself if using card. They don’t actually buy bikes- so the reviews saying that’s where people “sell stolen bikes” is questionable.Stock is variable and always coming in too, so when I bought my bike a few months ago they didn’t have the kind of frame I wanted for my height. So check back periodically if you can’t find something the first time. They also let you exchange the bike you did buy if it’s not working out for you, but no “returns” so to speak, which is typical of small businesses. If you want the kind of service you’d get from a big box store, maybe look elsewhere. If you want to support a local business and aren’t prejudice this shop is fine to go to. I haven’t had experience with getting repairs, but the owner always lets me come by to fill up my bikes tires for free.
Aug 05, 2022 · Melanie CI went here looking to buy a bike. When I was unsure about purchasing a bike they had, the owner told me he would buy the bike back from me when I didn't want it anymore. That sold me on purchasing the bike. Cut to a year later - I contacted them about selling the bike back to them only to be told that they don't purchase bikes and never have. Stay away from these scammers.
Feb 25, 2025 · nick rRobert helped me get a quality bike within my budget for commuting. He prioritized safety, quality, and had great customer service.
Feb 02, 2025 · Leira LewTerrible bike place. I went calm and cool trying to get my bike fixed on Sunday morning as they opened. I asked him how much it would cost to repair my brakes and man the guy was rude when i offered a bargain. He said i can do it myself. He was trying to charge me $60 for changing my brakes which is overpricing as the bike didn't even cost as much. I asked him if he can do it for $50 and he said i can do it myself for $50 and went back in his shop ignoring me. He also was disrespecting my father which is clearly not good customer service and clearly not a way to talk to a customer. If you don’t want to fix my bike just say so I’ll go somewhere else.
