Wheelworks Too Reviews
I've had some pretty bad experiences at Ace Wheelworks. Wheelworks Too has been lackluster too but they were selling a part at a price I could not resist so I gave them another try. While I was at the shop I figured I'd have the mechanic look at my troublesome derailleur. He told me I needed a new chain and a tune up. The chain is fairly new, and when I checked at home with a chain checker, the checker did not show considerable wear (see photo). I contested the claim about the chain and was told to have a nice day.Afterwards, I went to Landry's where the mechanic quickly noticed my bent derailleur hanger and worn out spring. There are some great people scattered throughout Wheelworks but, overall, they just can't seem to get it right.
Mar 29, 2025 · Tom MVery limited offerings at this bike store, they are not loyal to their customers
Jun 23, 2025 · ScottI stopped by to pick up an air pump. Since during the pandemic there were no customers allowed inside, there was a long line for bike repairs/purchases out front. The lovely staff in the back helped me out. They grabbed a pump for me and processed my purchase within minutes. They were so friendly and helpful! Thank you Wheelworks, you made my day! I was so happy to be able support a local business rather than buying the pump online from amazon, which I would’ve had to do if I hadn’t been able to get one today. Thank you!!
Jul 16, 2020 · kcosta113Very friendly staff and great kind. You can find appropriate bikes for your kids. Especially Trek and Specialized.
Apr 02, 2018 · hi TakeBought a bike there for my daughters birthday. Great experience at first and very helpful during purchase. But a month later when the bike broke, they’re not helpful at all - best they can offer is a shop appointment two weeks out.I’d rather do business with someone more willing to stand behind what they sell.
