The Bike Studio of Wake Forest Reviews
I can't say enough about Adam and his crew over at The Bike Studio of Wake Forest! I know I usually review food but I love local businesses who love doing what they do! Amazing selection of bicycles, a full service shop, and an extremely friendly staff. If you are looking for a bike shop that feels like that old corner bike shop you used to visit when you were a kid, this is the place for you. Pop in and tell Adam that I sent you!
Apr 04, 2025 · Max WileyTook a $2200 payment in full from me for a new mountain bike. It's been 18 days and Adam promised me my bike in no more than 7 days. What's worse is this guy doesn't answer the phone during advertised, business hours, VM inbox is always full. And he doesn't call you when he says he will. So, here I sit missing a planned bike outing for yet another weekend. The broken promises and failure to communicate with all the technology available is unacceptable and pretty freakin' infuriating! I've initiated a complaint with my CC to claw back the money because I have no faith I'll get my bike anytime soon. I highly recommend that you go elsewhere if you're looking for a shop that is honest and professional! Clearly, Adam hasn't a clue about customer service!P.S. The 1-star rating should be a zero because that's exactly how much satisfaction I got from attempting to buy a bike from this guy.P.P.S. His website also went off-line recently.
May 03, 2025 · Dan Della RovaIf you’re looking for a down to Earth and honest shop, stop in here. Staff are super friendly, knowledgeable of E-bikes, recumbent bikes, to enduro race bikes. Adam and the team are communicative and aware of the current market standings affecting the bike industry. If you need a bike related solution or are just looking for a new ride, come stop in at this shop!
Apr 23, 2025 · Elijah MorganWould not recommend this place. The staff are trying to make a quick sale. When purchasing a bike, I drive an hour out to a shop that actually cared. Had a friend who bought a bike through this place and they kept telling him it’d be there in a few days and then ended up selling him a bike that was cheaper than the one he ordered. The shop owner didn’t disclose that it wasn’t as nice of a bike so he walked out with a CHEAPER BIKE still paying FULL PRICE for the other bike he originally ordered. It’s shops like this that give biking a bad name.
Mar 22, 2025 · Curtis GarnerI took my son’s electric bikes there for repair. They did not communicate, their voicemail was always full, and if I did get lucky enough to talk to someone they would say that they would call me back but never do. Plus, what I took the bikes in for to get fixed they didn’t fix. I advise you not to get any repairs done at this place.
