Conte's Bike Shop Reviews
This shop is amazing. Wes helped me out and was so kind. I had a stroller that needed its tires inflated and am six months pregnant. He offered to load and unload the stroller and fixed my tires. The kids bikes in this shop are so cute and high quality as well. Will definitely be back!
Jun 26, 2025 · Lindsey RobertsTook my ebike to have a pedal arm replaced. The guy that was helping me was very nice and explained everything to me. While deciding whether to buy the tool and do the work myself or leave my bike, the guy helping me offered to wave the install fee. While telling me when the bike would be ready, another employee (bald dude) walked by with a weird attitude trying to convince me to take the bike to a different shop because they were too busy. Ultimately I left my bike and came back a few days later, after receiving notification it was ready. The original person helping was not there and the bald dude checked me out. He tried to charge me the install fee and when I explained everything he made a deal out of it and guilted me into paying at least $5 to make his boss happy... well I hope the boss is happy. enjoy my $5. I do not do busy with bad faith actors and honestly $5 is cheap to learn the true character of a business and its employees. o7
May 24, 2025 · William ReevesJust got into road biking with my son who lives in Raleigh. I’ve now made three visits to this bike shop for help; once to adjust a chain derailer, then back for a new tire tube and a third visit to replace a handlebar end cap. This team is professional, knowledgeable, and super responsive to solving your bike problems. It’s getting harder and harder to walk in there and not want to buy a new bike. They’ve got some great options. Great location and easy to visit on your way in and out of Raleigh just off Wade Avenue less than five minutes from interstate 40 and two minutes from the beltline. I’ll be back!

Jun 07, 2025 · Stephen TateWes is incredible! He helped me determine which bike models would best suite my budget, and provided impeccable maintenance on the bike I purchased thereafter. He even gave me some awesome places to ride! I will certainly be back.
