TLC For Bikes is conveniently located at 8480 Honeycutt Rd #126, Raleigh, NC 27615, USA, within Lafayette Village. This North Raleigh location makes it highly accessible for residents across Raleigh and the broader Wake County area in North Carolina. Lafayette Village offers a charming, pedestrian-friendly environment, and the shop’s presence there makes it an easy stop for those combining their bike errands with other shopping or dining. TLC For Bikes Reviews
I drove past 2 other shops to get to TLC because they were highly recommended. The tech made no effort to assist us in identifying or measuring the chain that we had (broken) to find the correct new chain. He repeatedly told us to bring the bike in to try different chains. We live an hour away, I won't be coming back
Mar 05, 2025 · Greg WheelerNice enough shop if you're a pro but you go in there with a kid ask for a cheap helmet and the guys response is if that's all your kids head is worth. I don't want to give him any of my money at this point. It's a good thing he's so clever, he doesn't need my money.
Jan 12, 2025 · Mark ArmstrongThe owner Gary Smith is very helpful and knowledgeable about bikes and fitness. Especially with endurance training and endurance nutrition. We discussed endurance needs for cycling and how to supplement before and during a ride as well as resistance training in the gym.Their maintenance shop is awesome and they do great work. I highly recommend TLC for Bikes. Just stop by and see for yourself. They also host bike rides Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Join them for a friendly ride of 35 miles or so.
Apr 03, 2018 · Explore RaleighNeeded a set of rim brake calipers and not only did Gary have them in stock, he price matched what they were going for online. Great shop ran by a great guy!
Jan 02, 2025 · Mike AndreasGary was really knowledgeable and went above and beyond sizing a road bike for me. I told him I’m leaving Monday to head back to Florida but my sister was going to be seeing me for Christmas so their was no rushGary had my bike ready in 24 hours and I’m taking it home tomorrow. I have never bought a bike from a person who was so knowledgeable and passionate about their profession.I highly recommend TLC for Bikes for anyone.
