Sacramento Bicycle Kitchen Reviews
Just attended a training on bike safety for riding in Sacramento. They had a local council member and a city person there to answer questions about infrastructure development plans plus free lights and bells. Great resources. Informative chat and wonderful hosting including beverages for attendees. Fantastic org. Today I learned if I have a suggestion for a location that needs a bike rack in our city, I can just call 311 and they'll install one! Or use the web form! Cool.2nd Saturdays: Free concerts w $5 beers. Soap in the bathroom. What more can I say.
Apr 24, 2025 · Alison M CWent to Sacramento Bicycle Kitchen with my friend for the first time yesterday after much anxiety about looking like a total noob in front of the cool, bike-savvy volunteers + staff and cannot say that I’m surprised that this place turned out to be exactly the way people had described — amazing! I have to give a huge shout out to Phillip who patiently walked me through a myriad of bike repairs with grace and humor while simultaneously troubleshooting my friend’s new whip. Phillip is the GOAT, because of him I can hold my head a little higher when I make my inevitable return to Sac Bike Kitchen. Also, it goes without saying that I will definitely recommend this place to other clueless bike owners and seasoned bike repair enthusiasts alike to support the cause! Thanks Sac Bike Kitchen!
May 30, 2025 · Taylor (Cherry Tom)Wow Bobby Ray was a great helper! He didn't make me feel out of place and was a belt to explain things to a newbie on bike maintenance. My derailer and cables were giving me issues and he was able to spot them immediately I'll definitely be coming back here for my bike needs. You come here to work on your bike yourself and volunteers are there for help and can show you how the mechanics work. Thank you for a happy working bike!!!
