Apr 14, 2024 · Jaime GuggisbergRecently moved to Parker and had heard good things about Mike's service, so I decided to give them a try. Brought my two year old "premium" gravel bike in as it was making a noise that sounded like the bottom bracket. I explained the scenario, it was under load, didn't matter which pedal, didn't matter whether it seated or standing, etc. The individual that helped me was pretty dismissive to what I had to offer, and immediately said it's probably the chain. He then checked the chain with his tool and showed me it was in spec, (as it should be since it only had 1,200 mi on it). But he recommended a chain replacement anyway and insisted that was what the noise was from, so I left it with him..When I came back the following day, I picked up the bike and was charged $65. I took it for a short ride around the block. The noise was definitely there, and was then told that I would need to leave it to them, and would be charged a minimum of $65 to "troubleshoot". I felt that was completely unacceptable, since they didn't solve it and already replaced a chain that was still within specifications. My guess is that this shop has incompetent technicians who just throw parts at bikes hoping they can fix the problem, or hoping it will just go away?Got it fixed after taking it to another shop in Parker (where the technician actually listened to me and rode the bike to diagnose the noise)..
Apr 24, 2025 · JSince the bike season was coming, I took my bike to Mike's Bikes Parker for a simple tune-up and ended up getting a new one!The guys found my bike frame was cracked and that represented an unsafe condition, so they helped me out by filing a claim against my bike manufacturer. They got me a super nice discount from the manufacturer valid towards a new bike. The whole team at Mike's Bikes Parker was super friendly and professional, answering all my questions and giving me the best advice on what to get. Also, the store manager did an amazing job helping me out through the financing process.I truly enjoyed the experience of getting a new bike there.I will definitely will be back when needing service or another bike.Thank you very much!
May 07, 2024 · Gabriel José Orellana CarrazzoniWhere to start? Walked in asking about a bike. Help sitting behind the counter, no meet or greet. I inquired about the bike I was looking for and in between his bites of lunch he informed they dont carry them in the store, they are not a stocking dealer. I asked if was available on the website, couldn't answer me. I guess I was infringing on lunch hour. Good luck, I won't be back. Get off your stools, put down your food and show some respect!
