Adventure Cycling Reviews
Dropped my bike off May 28th, given no receipt, asked for one though but trusted them even though the older blond slender guy was not great at customer service. Called them a few weeks later to see if it was ready, was told "if I haven't received a call it was ready then it's not", ok, not the best answer but I'm a veteran and it's veteran owned so I waited, frustrated I picked the bike up without a heads up call, work was not done, expected, started to put the bike on my car and one of the staff came out to say they had tried to call me two weeks ago as it needed extra work, turned out they had my number wrong, he did apologize BUT if I had received a copy of the drop off receipt I would have noticed my number was wrong or the person who I spoke a few weeks ago could have verified my info. Nice shop and a great collection of older bikes but a 35 day wait because of a poor process?? will not be back, I miss you Turin!, changed it to three stars from two because of the apology from the staff member and it's veteran owned...
Jul 03, 2025 · Richard GarciaI bought my bike from Elevations in Parker 5 years ago. It's a good bike shop but more than 10 miles away. I started using Colorado Cycling, but they were bought out, and the new company was terrible. And they recently closed. Saturday, my back tire was flat. I pulled the tube and couldn't find the leak. I brought the tube and wheel to Adventure. They were busy but got to me quickly. They couldn't find a leak either. The tech pulled the core out of the valve stem, and it was full of gunk. He replaced it for free. Maybe it was the valve core, or maybe the sealant did its job. I went home and started my ride. A mile and a half in, a brake cable snapped. So I took the bike back to Adventure, expecting to have to leave the bike. They replaced the cable and the worn-out brake pads, checked and adjusted the front brakes. I was on my way in less than a half hour. The back tire is still holding air, and both brakes are firm. I found my new bike shop.
Jun 09, 2025 · John Cervanyk (JADC55)Adventure Cycling is truly dedicated to remembering, supporting and advancing the sport of cycling. Half of the shop is fully stocked with all the new bikes you could ask for. They have a wide variety of high end road bikes, including some great European brands. Plus all the parts and equipment you need to get out on the road. However, the second part of the shop is where I always find myself gravitating towards. Stocked wall to wall with classic road bikes, all period correct with NOS Campagnolo, Rolls saddles and everything else you can think of. The team has assembled some of the best bikes from decades past all in one room.If you're looking to get a quick repair, a brand new bike or just take a walk down the memory bike lane, this is the place to do it.
Apr 01, 2025 · Adrian Haas-HeyeNot sure what to think of this place.I have always been a supporter of local mom and pop shops. They are the cornerstone of business and help to pursue passions within people. I have seen this place while driving by many times. I had a e bike tire that needed to be replaced as it was a standard flat. I am no bike specialist or anything but I do know when the vibe is off. The guy wasn’t that pleasant but wasn’t rude but just, “off”. I had bring in a tube for them to replace that I had in my house for a while and last time I had replaced my tube without having one at home it had set me back 40 dollars. A reasonable price for a replacement. This time I go with the tube and all I need to pay for was labor and the guy started talking about extended fees and other stuff that added the price to 85 dollars for just a tube replacement with the tube. I had came back to pick up the bike and then he led me with the bad news that , “your bike can’t roll due to some problems in the system of your bike” and started giving us some more fees to add on to the 85 dollars which at that point since I’m no professional I had nothing to do but pay. One day later my e bike doesn’t work and lost over 100 dollars for in my eyes a simple fix any bike shop should be able to do. I will always support businesses and don’t write reviews often but from this experience I just had to say something. Hope nothing but the best for this bike store.
Jan 01, 2025 · irvanMy wife and I just bought Velotric Breeze bikes. This is our first venture into biking in many, many years. Adventure Cycling got the bikes for us . . . set them up perfectly . . . made sure everything was adjusted and we knew all of the bike's features. Very, very good service. Even helped show us how to put the bikes on the bike rack we bought elsewhere.
