Airpark Bike Co Reviews
UPDATE: I spoke with the GM, Edi, regarding my issues mentioned below and appreciated having the opportunity to discuss these matters. As it turns out the majority of the issues were related to the manufacturer rather than the shop itself. Regardless, Edi took care of my complaints and made sure everything was righted. He was super pleasant to talk to and genuinely cared about my experience. Thank you for your help, Edi! This is a trustworthy shop. Overall, I am so happy with the purchase of my bike and have been shredding up my local trails.Original post:I will start with negatives and end with the positives. I ordered my bike online and had it shipped to my house. A few things were wrong with the bike before I could even ride it: 1. The seat dropper was not functioning properly and would not move up or down. I took it to my local bike shop they found that the cable was badly shredded and had to replace it. 2. The bash guard on the bottom has two bolts to hold in place; however the shop sent the bike with the bash guard glued on and only one bolt screwed on. The other bolt was rolling around loose in the storage compartment. My mechanic had to use liquid cement and lots of patience to finally get the bottom bolt on. 3. This is minor but the protective wrap was already slightly peeling. Not a huge deal but a little annoying since this bike was brand new and never ridden (maybe test ridden at their shop).I did call the Scottsdale store because of the bolt and cable issue. The person said the manager would call me and my mechanic back about the dissatisfaction and extra charges that this incurred but he never returned a call to either of us.As far as positives: 1. The bike was packed very well in bubble wrap and cardboard. 2. It shipped fast (7-9 days). 3. The price online was fair and I really do enjoy riding the bike after all the above issues were resolved.Overall, I love my new bike; however, it was NOT shipped out to me in “ready to ride condition”. I had to take the bike to my own mechanic to fix the seat dropper and bash guard and was CHARGED EXTRA MONEY for this additional work that should have been done by Airpark Bike Co before shipping the bike. I would have rather waited an extra week to ensure the bike was setup properly. I was also frustrated that the store manager did not return my call…not great customer service on my end. I am hoping this is just an acute low staffing issue or a one-off mistake.
Apr 28, 2025 · Jennifer BenderI flatted in the desert due to thorns. I knew I needed a liner to prevent that. 100 degree heat ain't fun. I'm from Florida and that's still too much. These guys were close to the hotel and knew mountain bikes so I figured they would be a good choice for a gravel bike. They recommended an armour liner. I couldn't mount it in my hotel room so I brought it back and they mounted it for free. It worked great and I strongly recommend Airpark Bikes and the armour.
May 29, 2025 · James Wernicke Sr.I was very happy with my purchase of the 2025 Orbea Rise LT H20 from Airpark! got a great price and they were fast at delivering it to me all the way in Florida in less than a week for free! Also, they set up my tires tubeless without a charge and without even asking me! Plus no state sales tax charged! Pretty Great service! Highly recommend!
May 06, 2025 · Darrin Wilson (Fire & Water Cooking)The gang at Airpark did a fantastic job installing all new brakes and rotors on my Transition Smuggler. I had even forgot about a couple of small compatibility issues when I brought in the parts with my bike. Luckily for me they were prepared and had the small parts needed to finish the job quick. If you have invested serious money in your mountain bike, rest assured this is a shop that you can trust with just about anything. Shout out to @kevbike :)
Mar 06, 2025 · David SkeetersThese guys are awesome! I ordered online and the customer service was top notch. Everyone I talked to was super helpful and friendly. Big thanks to the whole team, I got my Orbea from them and I’m stoked!
