Based on publicly available information, their services primarily revolve around the lifecycle of used and vintage bicycles, coupled with a significant charitable component.
- Sales of Used and Vintage Bicycles: They specialize in acquiring, recycling, and selling high-quality used and vintage bicycles. This offers a unique selection for customers interested in classic bikes, those looking for a more sustainable option, or individuals seeking a more budget-friendly entry into cycling.
- Sales of Used and Vintage Frames and Parts: Beyond complete bicycles, they also sell individual vintage frames and parts. This caters to enthusiasts who enjoy building or restoring bikes, or who are searching for specific components that might be harder to find elsewhere.
- Bicycle Repair Service: Public information confirms that Unbroken Chain Cycles operates as a "Bike Repair Service" in Madison. Their focus on vintage bikes likely means they have expertise in older models as well.
- Charitable Bicycle Programs: A core part of their mission is their support for charitable bicycle programs. For every bicycle they sell, they state they give away two, and a portion of the profits from every item sold supports these programs, with a focus on international outreach. They aim to provide safe and affordable means of travel to different walks of life by repairing often unusable bikes and giving parts and bikes away.
- Recycling and Restoration: Their model inherently involves the recycling and restoration of older bikes. By bringing "often unusable bikes back to life," they contribute to sustainability within the cycling community.

Unbroken Chain Cycles Reviews
This place is an absolute disgrace to the cycling community. They are rude, racist, and very pretentious. Tried asking questions and received nothing but poor attitude from them. They claim to be some high and mighty charity, it seems the only reason they are "charitable" is to clear their conscience after being rude to everyone who questions them. SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN!
Jun 19, 2025 · Mr. LI bought a mostly complete bike less the wheels & tires. The description failed to mention the frame had been repainted, and pictures were not clear enough to tell. Overall a nice frame I can work with to build a bike. The frame was delayed and there was some finger pointing from them, but it arrived after 2-weeks. Would I buy another one from them: maybe.
Dec 20, 2024 · Aaron VerlengiaDon't ask them anything as they can't answer a simple question without being derogatory Keep clear go elsewhere
Jul 03, 2025 · John AllenWon't be going through these people ever again. Staff was very rude when i complained about the shipping process and how it bent the wires in the tire sidewall. the eBay interaction was horrible and now they won't stop messaging with nonsense. Kinda weird. Not worth the hassle to replace so I'll just repurchase elsewhere if the tires dont take back shape. regardless these people are no good. Wish I read the reviews here before purchasing from these people Total rip off.and because I am still getting arrogant messages vi ebay my reply is as follows. "You need to stop messaging me. You got my review based up on the shipping process. Now it's based upon how absolutely rude you are. ""You said you have had zero complaints but the many 1 star reviews across the web show that is a lie. Now you are continuing harassing me, which will only cause more hassle. You are beyond your depth in this situation.ill leave also a screenshot of my original feed back about the way it was packaged for shipping so you can see how irrational these people became in demanding i remove my feedback experience. Now, for the last time Leave me alone. "
Jul 26, 2024 · RJMade an inquiry about a item posted on eBay and the response was surprising. Just a bunch of finger pointing back at me, the customer, essentially stating that they should not have to clarify anything to me. Not sure why there is such a triggered response here, and a need to continuously respond by the seller. I hope the seller can work on this to improve their business in the future.
