THE HUB Bike Shop Reviews
I’ve been coming to this shop for a while now and I really appreciate how focused and efficient the service team is. They’ve worked on both of my bikes over the last year and always deliver quality work in a timely manner. While I was in for my schedule appointment which you can do for Fridays, I witnessed someone trying to get extensive advice on cable selection for a personal project — not something quick, but more of an in-depth consultation. The techs were polite and genuinely trying to help, but it was clear this wasn’t the right setting for that kind of conversation. They’ve got a lot of bikes to fix and customers with appointments who expect their bikes to be ready on time (myself included). The manager and employee sizing me quickly for shoes and eventually stepped in and redirected the staff to stay on task, which I fully support. As a customer who depends on timely turnarounds, I appreciate that kind of leadership. It’s not a consultation counter — it’s a service area. If someone needs that level of assistance, it probably makes more sense to book time or come in during slower hours. All in all, I respect how the shop runs things. They care about quality, but they also respect their customers’ time — including mine. They are the last local shop and can not hurt reputation for missed service schedules
Apr 06, 2025 · wyatt morenoI recently bent my bike seat and took it in to get adjusted, unsure if I would need to buy new parts. Travis examined the bike, gave a few suggestions, then went to work on it. He could have told me to buy new parts and charged me money, but instead he spent 10 minutes adjusting the bike himself, completely free of charge. He gave some advice for what I can do in the future. He was informative and kind. I had a great experience!
May 20, 2025 · Maggie CraigGenuinely and shockingly disappointed at the level of customer service received today. I've shopped at both the previous and current location and have had good experiences before which is why I came back.I'm rebuilding an older bike for which I had an inquiry in terms of cable selection. I stopped in to chat with the technicians at the service counter who were genuinely trying to help and figure out what kind of cable to use when a gentleman walked up from the showroom and advised the techs to essentially stay on task with what they were working on before I approached the service area.I was there for all of 10 minutes asking for assistance which would have ultimately led to me either dropping my bike off with the shop or buying the requisite parts from the shop. Instead, I was turned away because someone told the techs (maybe a manager?) they needed to stay on task.I understand that to stay profitable, a shop needs to be efficient but a client consult can go a long way. I will not be back to this location and I regret that I purchased tires/tubes from this store earlier in the week. Had I known that this was the service I would receive, I would've gladly taken my business elsewhere.
Apr 04, 2025 · Alex ZaretskiyGreat shop and most importantly, great people working there. I am currently working on my son’s bike on a budget and needed some grease for the ball bearings in the fork. I called and asked if they sold the grease, but they were so kind and told me to swing buy and they would give me some of theirs. It was really helpful because I was on a small budget and trying to help my son fix his bike and they saved the day by giving me some in a plastic bag so I didn’t have to buy a full tube. We need more shops like this- quality service and kind hearts behind it. If you are going to support a small business, support this one!
Feb 22, 2025 · Rachel AdamsThe guys at The Hub are great, not just great bike technicians which they are, but a cool group of guys that all ride. That said they know a day without your bike and a missed ride is a bad day. My bike has been their shop a few times, mostly becuase i ride often and hard and i break stuff. A coupole warranty repairs as well which they worked diligently to make sure all parts were covered and my cost was minimal. Great shop great guys great service. I will be back. LOL
