The Bike Lane Reviews
OK if you need a quick fix for something simple, but avoid tune-ups here. I had my bike tuned up by them last summer. When I dropped it off, I had no gearing issues. I asked them to repair my bell and assess my chain, and they said they would. Not only did my bell and chain come back untouched, but my bike was skipping gears. I brought it back immediately, and they said they couldn't find any record of my tuneup. Huh? I just walked out with it. I handed them the receipt back. Eventually, they decided they could look at it. They "fixed" the skipping, but within a few weeks I couldn't reach top gear on the right without going down a gear on the left first.

Apr 28, 2025 · Brenda CabreraFalse advertising!!! Bikers beware!!Dani the "mechanic" isn't a mechanic at all. She is a bike surgeon, a bike physicist, an artist of her craft, the Rembrandt of the biwheeled world.Having the pleasure of benefiting from her skilled craftmanship will only leave you empty & longing for more should you ever foolishly patronize another bike shop. You've been warned.
