Rod's Reride Bikes Reviews
Had a nice Cannondale racing bike thats taken lots of abuse, was no longer riding it because the drop handle bars were too uncomfortable for commuting & pleasure. Rod helped me tune it up and replace the handlebars, brakes and shifters with a set-up that feels safe, functional, and a thousand times more comfortable to ride. He was thorough, professional and really seemed to care that the new bike was going to suit me. I feel like I have an amazing new bike. Thanks Rod!
Jun 09, 2023 · Keith ChalouxRod was very polite and professional. He answered all of my questions and even offered some information I wouldn't have thought to ask. He helped me to pick a bike that was sized appropriately for me and was low pressure throughout the process. I would be happy to purchase another bike from him in the future if the occasion arose.
Mar 30, 2021 · Daniel BaileyI called Rod after a car hit me on my return commute, bruising me but mangling my bike's frame. He had a lot of empathy (the guy's a 30+ year bike commuter in both Oregon and Alaska and has been through a lot) and spent a long time talking with me about my riding, the bikes I've had, and what I like. I told him my bike had been a gift from my wife when we first got married and, although the frame was ruined, I wanted to save as much of it as possible. Rod told me he'd look through his inventory and see what he could do.A couple days later, I got a call. Rod told me he'd found a frame that would fit both me and the parts from my previous bike. After sending me pictures and giving a very reasonable quote for the work, Rod proceeded to do what was essentially a complete bike build using the new frame, parts from my old bike, and a few new parts he suggested (upgraded to a carbon fork, added a new stem to better match the frame). The end result is a light, beautiful bike that has already given me hundreds of miles of service. Everything was perfectly sized. I had never ridden a custom-fit bike before and the difference is huge! From now on, both my wife and I will call Rod for all our bike work. Thanks a lot!
Jan 21, 2015 · Cole EnabnitBought a used bike from another person, that owner had all the rear spokes loose than ive ever seen, this kind soul here trued both wheels and tuned other parts and didnt even ask more for it. Super nice, equally skillful repair guy.
