Customized Service & "A La Carte" Options: We understand that every bike and every rider has unique needs. Beyond traditional tune-up packages, Central Texas Cyclery offers "a la carte" service options. This allows us to provide tailored solutions, whether you need a specific brake adjustment, a flat fixed, tubeless tire setup, or any other individual service. Our mechanics perform an initial diagnostic assessment to discuss the best service option for your specific concerns.

If your wheels have seen better days, or you're looking for a custom build, our skilled mechanic can meticulously rebuild and true them, ensuring strength, durability, and smooth performance for your rides. This service helps protect your frame and paint from scratches and impacts, preserving your bike's aesthetic and resale value.
Component Installation and Adjustment: We provide installation services for any purchased part, tire, tube, or chain. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Girmawi's a top-notch mechanic and the shop is just what SE Austin's been missing. He's warm, welcoming, patient, and will take the time to help explain the details of his work so that you can learn along the way. Highly recommend working with him for some of that old Austin energy.
Jun 24, 2025 · Ian Libardo TennantVery happy to find this bike shop on the East Side! Girmawi is enthusiastic and skilled mechanic, who takes the time to correctly and cleanly execute his work. I needed a wheel rebuilt and am very pleased with his work.
Jun 05, 2025 · corvette fever5 stars and thank you for fixing my bike!I highly recommend Central Texas Cyclery. The owner, pricing, and service are all top notch.
Jun 04, 2025 · Stephen WenzlerThis is a brand new bicycle shop here in austin. I think this is going to turn out to be one of the more popular bicycle shops in the city. They are near a winery and there's a pizza shop and a arcade all within walking distance. The owner is pretty young guy, so you got to love young entrepreneurs. Of all the places for a person to start a business, he decided to start it here in Austin even though he is from houston. They will sell the sit down tricycle type of bike, it's actually called a TerraBike. I brought three bikes and he got them in quick, the pricing was great, comparable to other bike shops. I got great updates about my bike especially when a part had to be ordered and that's no fault of his, I just had to wait for the part to get here. I did see that there were other people that were here the same day of the grand opening like me so hopefully word is getting out. They also sell other items inside if you are interested in accessories for your bike. I saw a wide variety of bikes in there so it doesn't really matter what you have, if it is a cycle, I'm sure that he can work on it. Every time I come in here I seem to learn something new about a bicycle because this guy is doing something from scratch. It's cool to see a artist working at his art /craft.
Dec 31, 2024 · Donato The Last DonGreat mechanic. Excellent wheel builder. Patient with customers. Just Awesome! Most of all, Girmawi is a kid’s bike expert. With his guidance, my little guy won his first BMX State Championship at 3 years old. Video on my YouTube to prove it.
