Bike Stop Cycling Reviews
Recently my wife and I experienced a bike "emergency". I phoned ahead and the Bike Stop crew was ready to go. Todd and Jacob quickly completed the fix and we were back on the road. Bike Stop has been our go to spot for nearly 20 years. We always appreciate their efforts to promptly solve our riding issues or provide useful information. We look forward to continuing our positive relationship with them.
Apr 29, 2025 · Jim DermodyI called Bike Stop to ask if they could put a 9 speed derailleur on a road bike with an 8 speed cassette and shifters. The mechanic said the only way to know was to try it, so I dropped my bike off. Three days later they called to say my bike was done. This was in stark contrast to the shops I'd called in my town, who said there was no way a 9 speed derailleur would with with an 8 speed setup. I picked up the bike, rode it in the parking lot, and it shifted beautifully. From now on, I'm taking all my bikes to Bike Stop. Top notch.
Mar 30, 2025 · gottlieb chuWe just received a Kuat bike rack from a friend and couldn't figure out how to use our hitch adapter with it. Jacob took the time to figure it out, found us the proper adapter, and gave us a short lesson in how to mount our bikes properly. Nice guy. Thanks very much Jacob !!!
May 15, 2025 · Judith SandersRefuses to fix e-bikes they did not assemble. Clearly predatory business practices. I asked for a simple tube replacement for a flat tire. I unhooked the motor and battery as I built the bike myself. This is not a liability issue, this is them wanting you to spend 3x the price so they can build it and charge you. Do not fall for their excuses within the reply.
May 16, 2025 · Joseph WalshVery disappointed with the last visit. Dropped my bike off thinking it would be cleaned and thoroughly checked for my upcoming camping trip. I picked the bike up which still had dried mud on several parts and spider webs in areas of the frame from winter storage. I ended up with a chain replacement that cost me over a $100. I had to clean the gearing myself to get from 1st to 2nd and to top it off they did not even check tire pressure as the tires had 15lbs.
