I've taken my bike in a couple times for a tune-up and maintenance repairs. The people that work here really know what they are doing.....and are always so helpfull and kind. I love my bike! EVERYONE was incredibly helpful and friendly! The turnaround time was 1 week and complete when promised. My bike was way cleaner than I ever imagined. I wouldn’t want to take my bike anywhere else for service! THANKS TREK!

What should have been a simple quality check turned into a disturbing encounter marked by disrespect, disregard, and what I believe was clear racial bias.I entered the store and was initially greeted by a female representative who instructed me to bring in my new bike for a quality inspection. That seemed helpful and routine. However, once I returned with my bike, the situation shifted in a way that was undeniably hostile and exclusionary.A white male employee with a beard approached me. I greeted him politely with a "hello," and he refused to respond. Not even a nod. No eye contact. No professionalism. Still, I tried to stay focused and explained that I had assembled my new bike and simply wanted a quality inspection to make sure everything was correctly installed. Without a word, he took the bike behind the counter and began speaking on the phone. After the call, I noticed him whispering to the female staff member — both of them looking directly at me, whispering in a manner that made it clear I was being discussed, not assisted.There were no other customers in the store. I waited patiently, but when no one returned to speak with me, I approached the counter to ask what was going on. That’s when the male employee abruptly stated that the quality check would take five to seven days. I asked why such a long delay was necessary — especially since no one else was waiting. The female employee vaguely claimed there was “a problem” with the bike but failed to explain what that problem was. No technical detail. No assessment. No conversation. Just vague dismissal.At that point, I had had enough. I said, “Give me my bike, and I’ll take it elsewhere.” Neither the man nor the woman made any effort to apologize. Neither of them attempted to explain the issue further. Neither offered a solution, alternative, or even the most basic acknowledgment of my experience. It was as if I wasn’t worth their time, and my concerns didn’t matter. That kind of treatment speaks volumes.Let me be clear:I was ignored and dismissed from the moment I returned with my bike.I was not offered transparency, professionalism, or the courtesy extended to other customers.I was made to feel like a burden, an outsider, and a problem — for simply requesting the service I was told to seek.No one apologized. No one tried to make it right.The only conclusion I can draw is that I was treated this way because of the color of my skin. This was not just bad customer service — this was discrimination.Trek claims to be a brand rooted in community and inclusion, but today’s experience reveals a deeper problem: if your frontline staff are permitted to treat customers of color with this level of contempt and evasiveness, then your values are performative at best.I will never return to this location.
