I second Jessi's review regarding the belligerence of the unnamed woman she dealt with, who I'm guessing is Pam. That was my experience too. And if you want a taste of it without having to go into the store, just take a look at the response to Tim Haas's review.Last year I spent over $500 on a mountain bike at this shop and ended up crashing on my first ride because they didn’t properly secure the handlebar onto the frame. I brought it in and after looking at it, Joe apologized, said he was “embarrassed,” and offered to order a new one in light of the cosmetic damage and put it together himself to ensure it was assembled 100% right. I agreed and thanked him. He adjusted the bolts on the handlebar of the old one and let me use it while I waited for the new one.The cassette on the old one then broke on an easy MTB trail a few days later. I told Pam about this, and she reminded me that I asked for an entry-level bike. True, but I still expect to be able to use it for the purpose I bought it for. Later she angrily told me “You broke the cassette!” and implied that I must have been abusing the bike. In that conversation (and others) she was argumentative and impatient and made it clear she was annoyed at having to help me with my problems with the bike she sold me. Her philosophy seems to be that the customer is always wrong.Anyway, within a week of picking up the new one, not only did I have to bring it back to have the brakes adjusted, but again the cassette broke--this time on a flat rail trail! And I had ridden it a whole three times total. Joe identified the problem with the cassette, put a new one on (noting his generosity in doing so), and said he'd inquire with his supplier if there were other reports of this problem. Since then I haven't had an issue (though I made sure to take it to someone else to inspect it and make any necessary adjustments).So in summary, ultimately they did the right thing (which I attribute more to Joe than to Pam), but they were quite begrudging in doing it and it was a big hassle.

Upon entering, we were greeted by Pam. She welcomed us and showed us around.It was comfortable visiting this local bike shop that also offered shakes and protein drinks.While browsing we felt confident and comfortable. So wee purchased some riding gear and a drink.The next time we are in the area we will definitely stop by the Trailblazers Bike Barn and spend some money there!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would do so in a heartbeat. I had a decent experience when I first visited the store in 2019 to get my bike but the one I left with wasn't what I really wanted. First mistake, sure, but the sales person INSISTED that was the bike I needed to get. I was wobbly riding it outside the store but she said I'd be okay once I got used to it. The problem was I never did. I went back in today to ask if they buy bikes back and the lady that was there working today was belligerent and rude and argued with me every step of the way. She's got zero business working the floor because her customer service and people skills need a crash course in how to be less snobby and more informative/friendly. I told her I was uncomfortable riding it because it's too tall for me and she immediately argued with me saying that it was a medium bike and it wasn't, then she very rudely asked if the seat was lowered. She essentially told me (in more or less words) that I was wrong and that all her sales are perfect and then proceeded to tell me that if I was afraid to ride my bike I'd be terrified to ride the other one I was interested in (an e-bike). The young blonde girl that was working there was a witness to all of this, I feel terrible for her having to work under someone like that!

So glad our friends recommended this place. The owner was very helpful in helping me pick out my bike and making sure everything fit well. Can't recommend this place enough!

Always wanted to go here. Finally after many trips past, we stopped in to see the place.Also finally found a perfect replacement rear light that was lost earlier this summer.The couple who own the place had a chance to visit with our cycling group.
