Mar 23, 2025 · MadelineThis is a new neighborhood bike shop. They have a good selection and can provide maintenance and repairs. The owner, Josh, is incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable about the vast amount of surrounding trails.
Mar 21, 2025 · Cary ReynoldsI was so happy with my experience at Still Ride! I have been dreaming of a new bike for some time, and have been browsing online and at big-box stores. I felt really overwhelmed with all of the choices, and wasn't sure about anything, so I just kept putting off the purchase. From the moment I walked into Still Ride, I felt immediately at ease. I told Josh, the owner, that I mostly ride the Des Plains River Trail, but was looking for something that could take me safely across Iowa for RABGRAI this summer. He listened, and matched me with a Trek Checkpoint - I couldn't be happier! I am glad that I chose a store that I can come back to if I have questions or need a tune-up. There were also super cute items for sale like super fun hand-painted bike bells; I will definitely be back!
May 07, 2025 · michelle spangleBig shoutout to Josh and @StillRideBikeShop in Tinley Park for bringing my 1992 Cannondale mountain bike back to life. Josh gave this old college ride a second chance—new teal cable covers, light purple pedals and matching grips—inspired by a Pop-Tart, no less. This thing oozes jelly now.It had been sitting unrideable for years—broken cables, a smashed shifter—but this bike once carried me through the streets of Rome when I studied abroad. Now, it rides better than ever. This bike proudly wears the Still Ride sticker badge.Incredible tech work, a little creativity, and a whole lot of jelly—thanks, Josh.
Apr 19, 2025 · Michael MatthysBrought my bike in for routine service — brake pads, system flush, and a once-over on the essentials. The difference post-service is immediately noticeable. Brake lever modulation is crisp, with a confidence-inspiring bite point and consistent feel under load.Big thanks to Josh for the solid communication throughout. Knowledgeable, approachable, and clearly someone who understands the nuances of proper bike setup. I’ve been through my fair share of shops over the years, and it’s rare to find one that nails both the mechanical work and customer experience. Glad to have a new go-to spot.
