Trek Bicycle Houston West University Reviews
Where have these bike whisperers been all our lives?Huge thanks to Mark Chambers, Tito, Max, and store manager Tyler Reynolds at Trek Bicycle Houston West University—true pros with the hearts of riding buddies and the brains of NASA engineers (but cooler and with better socks). We came in with a mission: declutter our garage from a pile of pandemic-era bikes we’ve outgrown and revive an old-school 12-speed road bike that’s been resting since Reagan was president. Oh—and find a split saddle performance seat worthy of my dad’s indoor Wahoo trainer throne. This team didn’t just check boxes—they brought the full personal, professional, and family-friendly service experience. Mark and Tito helped us plan how to responsibly and smartly sell our old bikes. Max tuned up our vintage road warrior with surgical precision. Tyler kept the whole process smooth, upbeat, and genuinely enjoyable. No upselling. No pressure. Just thoughtful advice, smart recommendations, and some seriously good vibes. If you're looking for a bike shop where the team remembers your name, understands your gear goals, and doesn’t mind if you ask a dozen “just curious” questions—this is the place. Ride on, Trek West U!
Apr 21, 2025 · Luke RobinsonWent in to get a trek bike restored but unfortunately it's not worth it, but anyways the employees in the front are very helpful and knowledgeable. May 06, 2025 · Porfirio CastanedaFantastic and friendly customer service. I brought my 12 year old Trek 1.1 road bike in for a complete restoration and pickup of an FX mountain bike that was on sale. The turn around time was fast and I was blown away by the quality of the work. My bike was in bad shape and now it’s been given a new life. I’m staying with Trek.
Jan 30, 2025 · JLAdam went above and beyond today! I came in with an issue with my derailleur. He did a quick assessment and had the bike up and rolling in no time(I had him upgrade a few other components also). Great pricing and service.
Mar 18, 2025 · J MChristine was amazing! She took her time and walked my husband and I thru every step of the bike fit process. It was so much more than sitting on a bike and spinning the wheels. It was checking our mobility, range of motion, and how we were overall physically before we even started the fitting process. There were adjustments made to our bikes and even our shoes… some were big and some were very small. All adjustments were 100% necessary. My husband has a road bike and I have a mondone built out for triathlons. So the fittings for our bikes were completely different. I can’t say enough great things about Christine and how professional she is. She knows her stuff when it comes to bike fittings!
