The Velo, World's Smallest Bikeshop Reviews
Highly recommend. Dale was very helpful and generous with his time. I got the sense he has this shop purely for fun and selffulfillment, as he certainly didn't care about trying to charge some crazy amount for everything like we've experienced at other bike shops. He troubleshooted and fixed an issue with our bike for free.He definitely has a personality, and it shows, and that's part of the appeal.
Nov 25, 2023 · sam jAt this bike shop, the tech was very helpful, I aways take a bike ride late at night or early in the morning. This morning, on the way home. I blew a tire, and I see a pinnail and had to walk back home. I took it a part to see a nail through the tube. I put 90 95 psi replaced the tube put 80 psi make sure the tire would not tear. Went to the bike shop he put 90 psi said good to go Appreciate all your cycling your buddy Mr Carlos Guy Vidrios back to san gabriel
Jul 18, 2021 · Carlos Guy VidriosThese negative reviews are shocking, Dale is the most helpful and friendly guy you'll meet. He refurbishes old bikes and sells them at a fair price. He's always been super up front and helpful when we've bought bikes. He gives bikes to kids for free (we've been given a couple and have brought in our old kids bikes for him to pass them on), and has serviced my bike I got from him for free multiple times. If you are a local, he's the best!
May 27, 2021 · Aaron BakerDale is very friendly and gave excellent service on-the-spot, replacing both tire tubes for $35 flat. He cleaned and lubed the chain and tightened the handlebars at no extra charge. He was also willing to change the shifter I haven't gotten to myself, even though he was about to leave for vacation. I told him we'd come back because it wasn't urgent.I highly recommend The Velo. Just remember it's cash only and open Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays only, 10-5.
Mar 31, 2019 · Jon BallNot the friendliest of people. Sales are final. Big risk considering they sell used bikes. Judging by their lack of communication, buy at your own risk
