OKAI Inc. positions itself as a provider of electric scooters and bicycles, catering to the growing demand for sustainable and efficient personal transportation. While their primary focus appears to be on their own brand of electric scooters and bikes, understanding their operational model and customer support is key for anyone considering their products or services. This overview will delve into their physical location, the services they offer, notable features, and essential contact information, all from the perspective of a local California user.
For those in California looking to explore personal electric vehicles or seeking support for their existing OKAI products, understanding the accessibility of their main operational hub is crucial.
OKAI Inc. is physically located at:
1458 E Mission Blvd, Pomona, CA 91766, USA
This address places them within the vibrant community of Pomona, California. For residents in Southern California, this location is relatively accessible via major roadways, making it a potential destination for in-person inquiries, product pick-ups, or service drop-offs. Given its presence in Pomona, it serves as a central point for many who might be traveling from various surrounding cities and towns within the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area and beyond.
Accessibility by car is generally straightforward, with parking likely available on-site or in the vicinity. Public transportation options in Pomona might also serve the area, though specific routes and proximity to the address would need to be verified by individual users based on their starting location. For locals, knowing this fixed point of contact can be invaluable for any direct interactions with the company.
While OKAI Inc. primarily focuses on the sale of its electric scooters and bicycles, based on customer interactions and the nature of their products, certain services can be inferred or are explicitly mentioned through customer experiences. It's important for potential customers to be aware of the scope of these services.
- Product Sales: OKAI Inc. is a direct provider of their own brand of electric scooters and bicycles, including models like the Neon Ultra ES40 and the Okai E50 Ranger. Customers can likely purchase these products directly from the company.
- Warranty Support: The company offers warranty services for its products, as indicated by customer reviews where individuals sought warranty repairs. This suggests a process in place for addressing manufacturing defects or issues covered under their warranty terms.
- Repair and Maintenance Information/Support: While specific in-house repair services are not explicitly detailed as a general offering beyond warranty, customer experiences highlight interactions related to repairs. This implies a level of technical support or guidance for product issues, even if it involves instructing customers on how to prepare products for service.
- Customer Service Inquiries: As with any product provider, OKAI Inc. handles customer inquiries related to product features, troubleshooting, and general support.
Understanding the core features and highlights of OKAI Inc. involves looking at both their product offerings and their operational approach, as reflected in public feedback.
- Specialization in Electric Personal Mobility: OKAI Inc. is dedicated to the niche market of electric scooters and bicycles, suggesting a focused expertise in these types of personal electric vehicles.
- Direct-to-Consumer Model: As a brand, OKAI Inc. seems to operate largely on a direct-to-consumer model, which can sometimes allow for more direct communication channels between the company and its customers.
- Brand-Specific Support: For owners of OKAI products, the company serves as a direct point of contact for issues related to their specific models, offering brand-centric knowledge and support.
- Physical Presence in California: Having a physical address in Pomona, CA, provides a tangible point of contact for Californians, distinguishing them from purely online retailers. This can be a significant advantage for logistics like shipping for repairs or in-person consultations, although it's crucial for customers to manage expectations regarding walk-in services or immediate resolutions.

The provision of both a general phone number and a mobile phone number offers multiple avenues for contact, which can be convenient for users seeking assistance.
For locals in California, especially those residing in or near the Pomona area, OKAI Inc. represents a distinct option for their electric personal vehicle needs. Its suitability for locals can be summarized by several key points. Firstly, having a physical location within California simplifies logistics for product purchases, and more importantly, for any service or warranty-related issues. The ability to ship to or potentially drop off products at a local address, rather than an out-of-state or international one, can save time and reduce shipping complexities and costs for Californians.
Secondly, as a specialized provider of electric scooters and bicycles, OKAI Inc. caters directly to the growing trend of personal electric mobility, which is particularly relevant in California with its emphasis on environmental consciousness and alternative transportation methods. For individuals looking to commute, explore, or simply enjoy recreational rides on an electric vehicle, OKAI Inc. offers a specific brand and product line to consider.
However, it is crucial for locals to approach their engagement with OKAI Inc. with a clear understanding of the customer service experience, as highlighted by public feedback. While the convenience of a local point of contact is beneficial, customers should be prepared for potential challenges in the repair and warranty processes, including communication and resolution times. Thoroughly reviewing warranty terms, seeking clarification on repair procedures, and maintaining diligent records of communication are advisable steps for any customer.
In conclusion, OKAI Inc. serves as a local hub in Pomona, California, for those interested in their range of electric scooters and bicycles. Its physical presence offers a tangible connection for Californian customers, providing an accessible location for sales and support. While the services are focused on their own product line, and customer experiences suggest areas for improvement in post-sales support, OKAI Inc. remains a relevant option for locals seeking personal electric mobility solutions within the state. As with any significant purchase, especially one involving ongoing support, Californian residents are encouraged to undertake their own due diligence, communicate clearly, and set realistic expectations for their interactions with OKAI Inc.

OKAI Inc. Reviews
I sent in my electric scooter for warranty repair, they told me i needed to send everything that came with the scooter back to them and clean it before hand. I cleaned the whole scooter with Clorox wipes and sent back everything that came with it. When i got returned the scooter they supposedly repaired, it had the same issue as when i sent it in (Battery management system faulty). It was also sent back to me with more issues then when it left me, as well as missing the charger and tools that come with the scooter, i sent those back with the scooter because they said they needed everything that came with the scooter or they would not warranty repair it. They told me to send it back to them and they would refund me (neon ultra es40, $1000 was the scooter's price) and i sent it back to them, they confirmed they have received it, but they will not refund me, and they will no longer contact me back no matter how much i try to contact them. This scooter came with a 2-year warranty when i bought it, and i originally sent it for the warranty repairs 3 months after i purchased it.
Apr 08, 2025 · Cayden KozmaI am an owner of an Okai bike, and I also inherited a a stiff neck and a minor concussion and experienced the joy of physical therapy after I learned my first disc brake repair lesson. What I learned is that the brakes on the Okai E50 Ranger are single piston brakes, cable driven (mechanical is the preferred term). The cable isn't the problem, but a single piston brake most certainly is. There are multi- piston cable driven brakes and I'm sure they work fine. Single piston will provide the same performance, for a period of time. However you will need to adjust the brakes more often, probably almost twice as often. Now it's fairly common to fix your own things where I come from. Like a lot of other bike riders, I consider it cheap transportation. That's right, I am frugle. I admit it, I have limited funds and I don't just go spending money willy-nilly without thinking about the cost of things. For example: I'm not going to take my bike to a bike mechanic and wait a week before I get it back at a cost of $100 for 15 minutes of work. Just not doing it. It's kind of a "teach a man to fish and feed him forever" thing. I've never had disc brakes before always pad brakes. A very simple design, and so I did what I've always done, adjusted the brakes by pulling more cable down to a tighter crimping point.Cable brakes work a little different - it looks like the same process, and for the most part, it is. But there's another step. Here's the thing; a single piston brake only presses from one side. When you adjust the brake, you have to adjust it from two sides, pulling he cable through for the outside brake and turning the piston from the side facing the wheel spokes. It's a bit of a process, and if you don't complete the second part of that process, the brakes will inevitably fail. Pulling the cable will press the spring inside the piston out further and further until it slips out of a retention pin and fails. Not knowing about the interior adjustment because there is no guide or repair or even maintenance manual provided, I did this about 2 to 3 times and the brakes indeed did fail. In fact when it happened it happend to both brakes on the same trip (front and rear), and I found myself with no brakes. Some might call this a "situation". I felt it as an emergency and made what seemed like the best choice at the time. I simply slammed myself, and the bike into a wall. That was a choice I made, seeing the wall as a better option than a person or a car. Thanks for the learning experience Okai. Thanks for doing nothing about it, thanks for not offering to pay for repairs and thanks for acknowledging the extensive e'mail I sent explaining why this is a major design flaw when you consider who the product is targeting. Hopfully nobody gets severely hurt, or killed. But it does seem like an inevitable result.
Jun 19, 2025 · Julian BrummittBought a Okai scooter from previous owner and the service team headed by LINKY was fantastic. I had a problem of Bounding ( Locked Out ) to previous owner. Can’t use my Phone to operate the Scooter. With the help of the after sales team. I was able to fully operate and manage navigating the full features of the scooter using my phone. ( changing colours / Cruise control and many more )Highly recommend for sure. The Quick response from after sales support. This Team deserves more than 5 stars.I’m giving them 10 STARSThanks and more power to your company.
Sep 03, 2024 · 360 fix allOKAI Item BB22104637. Scooter stopped working after about 5 months. Called & was met with an extremely rude condescending customer service operator (Raymond). Time will tell if they will fix or replace.
May 07, 2025 · G LauI bought 100 ES600 scooters for 120,000 euros and sold them for 50,000 euros. All this was a loss of 70 thousand euros due to the stupidity of the OKAI employee. He sold me motorcycles that were unusable in my country and were seized at the police station. The scooters were released from the police and I sold them at a huge loss. I would not recommend this failed company to anyone.
