ERIK'S - Bike Board Ski Reviews
The guys there are knowledgeable and offer honest advice. This time of year I was able to get a decent discount on 2 bikes. Place is very clean and organized.
Dec 15, 2024 · Peter MAfter about 4 years of questionable service at this shop, I finally got took my business elsewhere. Over the last three years, I have purchased two new bikes (particular to Specialized brand) and had multiple instances where I have brought in bikes for service over that time. While the place is well located, clean, and organized, the message and service are not. I have been frustrated with unkept timelines and unapologetic employees (and owner/manager). I was called once and told that my new bike was in; when I showed up to pick it up (I live 30 minutes away), I was told that they did not receive it and that they didn't call. I played the voicemail for them and they denied that they left it (so weird), then would not even apologize for making me come out. Last year I brought in a few bikes for tuneups and I got them back 7 weeks later, despite just being minor repairs and being told that it would only take 2 weeks. The communication and excuses were unprofessional. Same thing happened the year before. And the arrogance is too much with the manager.Found a great new Specialized dealer locally who serviced my bikes in 3 days and were so helpful. Not sure why anyone puts up with this clown show.
Apr 03, 2025 · Russ MingI’ve been a customer for a few years now having purchased a bike and using their mechanical services too. Let’s just say I’m a repeat customer. While the floor room is on the smaller side it’s very specialized and ironically the Specialized brand acquired them; Since then it appears they’ve reduced their once wider scoped inventory. I wish I could still get Santa Cruz…adios. I feel their niche is higher end mountain & bikes. In addition to bikes the have a decent inventory of gear, a great bike fitment section, and adept service section. Customer service is top notch. In ways it’s like the old sitcom Cheers, and that melody echoed in the credits “…where everybody know your name…”I’ve ridden on the trails with a few of these guys over the years and have become friends with others. I am a little biased because in some ways it feels like I’m home there. And thanks for the military discount too.If their selection was wider and they had more offerings I would have given 5 stars.
Apr 20, 2025 · Harold PKWalked in here with a friend Saturday 6/21/25 after looking at a few of the gravel bikes that were labeled in stock on the website at this specific location. My friend has always told me that this location was the worst place to shop and the employees are rude. I insisted we take a look since in the past I had rode Specialized bikes. Walked around the entire store looking at what bikes were on display. The staff here did not offer to help, did not say we will be with you when we are done (mind you it was us and one other customer in the store), not even a hello when we walked in. Ended up going to the Trek store in Royal Oak and bought a Gen 3 Carbon Checkpoint same day. The experience was night and day.
Jun 23, 2025 · Ryan RThank you team KLM! Last minute wheel blow up before Iceman 2024 was resolved for the race in an hour. Having this resource in the area is important to cycling so stop in and support this shop in addition to what might be your preferred or favorite shop. Check out the specialized Globe to replace your car on nice days (very cool / I want one). Thanks again KLM.
