D&D Bicycles - Brighton Introduce
For cycling enthusiasts and casual riders alike across Michigan, finding a local bike shop that truly meets your needs can elevate your riding experience. In Brighton, D&D Bicycles has long been a fixture in the community, striving to be a comprehensive resource for everything related to two-wheeled adventures. This establishment is known for its wide selection of bicycles and accessories, alongside a range of services aimed at keeping Michiganders on their bikes, exploring the beautiful landscapes and trails our state has to offer.
D&D Bicycles - Brighton aims to serve as a hub for the local cycling community, providing not just products but also expertise and support. As a family-owned and operated business that has been serving the cycling community since 1977, they bring decades of experience to their Brighton location. They understand that every cyclist, from those enjoying leisurely family rides to serious athletes preparing for races, has unique requirements, and they endeavor to cater to these diverse needs.
However, it's worth noting that customer experiences can vary, and it’s important for prospective customers to be aware of the range of feedback. While D&D Bicycles strives to provide a beneficial experience, some customers have shared less positive encounters. For example, one customer expressed, "Took 2 bikes for service to D&D Brighton. Asked them to go over the bikes and service before they were shipped to Miami. They called with a $350 repair bill and we ok'd the work. Once we received the bikes they never did maintenance on them as asked and I was credited $62. I was told to take to the nearest bike shop here in Miami and they would pay the bill. Once it came time to pay they refused. This will be the last time I ever do business with them." Another shared a difficult experience: "My husband and I went to D & D specifically for a taller child's bike with training wheels for our very tall 5 yo granddaughter. We took the advice of the salesperson on which bike to get. We were told 'no problem' on them being able to put training wheels on the bike when it arrives in 6 weeks. Six weeks came and went and no bike. Twelve weeks later, the bike came in, but we were told the bike couldn't be fitted with training wheels after all because of the design. 'SORRY' was the manager's only response. Near $400 spent for a bike my granddaughter won't be able to ride. I'm sorry we trusted D & D." These reviews indicate that while they aim to assist, it's prudent to confirm details and expectations upfront to ensure satisfaction.

Jul 13, 2024 · Liz. HeyerNew to this ebike thing, never thought I would need a bike rack, Patrick was awesome at showing me the top of the line and the right one for my ebikes bikes(that I previously purchased online). Patrick assembled the bike rack and demonstrated how to operate it attached to my vehicle
Jun 29, 2022 · MarkMatt and his partner were incredible to work with. Matt put together my bike rack and installed it on my car for me. So kind. Great information. Great bike store. Highly recommend the Brighton and Waterford locations. Hunter got the ball rolling for me in Waterford and Matt took it from there in Brighton. So grateful to have a bike rack that I'll be able to put on and take off myself. No straps.
May 22, 2023 · Bonnie ReichersGood selection and inventory depth. Initial visit I spoke with Patrick who listened to my needs and he suggested 2 bike options. No pressure to buy, just information I was looking for at the time. After shopping around and researching further, I returned with my selection which was fairly priced. Patrick fit me with the size I needed and had the bike transfered from another store. He took the time to set it up for me as I was going topick it up the next day. Cheryl helped me on the pickup, offering a test drive and had a very helpful mechanic make a few tweaks to the bike. Great experience at D&D overall. I appreciate their time and patience as well as expertise. Quality place to do business with!
