Castle Rock Bike & Ski Reviews
Really disappointed with Castle Rock Bike & Ski. We've been long time customers since 2012 and we rented skis for our kids many times over the years. This year I reserved skis for my son and was told over the phone to book online for the weekend and we would be charged for two days with pickup the day before.I arrived with my son on Friday with a drive ahead of us to go skiing. The guy working the counter told us that it was only two days if we arrived after 3 pm. Obviously, in winter you can't leave late to go if you are expecting bad weather. So he charged us $22 for another day.On the drive back we arrived after 1 pm after traffic and other factors. This guy then charged us a $30 late fee for arriving at 3 pm even though it is highly unlikely that anyone would be renting on a Monday after the holiday weekend. Sorry, but that lack of understanding cost you a customer. The guy was wearing a shirt with a name tag that says "Lettuce".The way you treat the customers affects the loyalty you receive from customers. I'd rather help a local business, but no more from CRB&S. The actual owner has always been nice and helpful. We don't care for how the younger employees treat the patrons.
Feb 18, 2025 · Jeff AguilarWe rented ski equipment here from out of state to rip away in the mountains and could not have been more satisfied! The quality and offering of Castle Rock Bike & Ski equipment vs. the shops near the mountains was unmatched. The shop personnel made sure to confirm our needs and tailored our equipment to us upon pick up to ensure we would have the best experience on the mountains. They also price the rental very reasonable. We had an absolute blast with stellar equipment that was amazing! This shop is certainly rocking for your trip to the Rockies! Thank you and highly recommend this shop!
Jan 21, 2025 · Jenny AlfanoCastle Rock Bike & Ski were great to work with. I brought in 3 department store grade bikes for tune ups. They tuned them up for $100 each. They were done in two days. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. Going in, I was concerned that they might look at my cheap bikes and scoff but they treated me and the bikes with professionalism.
Feb 08, 2025 · Brandon CresmenThe first time I visited Castle Rock Bike & Ski was today and it was such a pleasant experience. First the phone call and I was greeted by a friendly woman who was very upbeat. When I arrived at the store, I felt very welcomed. Oftentimes, you walk into a bike shop and feel intimidated. Not here. I was at ease immediately. The best part of the experience was the mechanic, Alex, who was experienced, friendly and answered all my questions with a quiet confidence. We're fortunate to have this retailer in Castle Rock. I highly recommend a visit.Thank you for setting such a high bar for your customer service.
