I bought my bike from Emily-super helpful and friendly. When I called to see when my bike would be ready for pick-up, the guy I spoke with was rude. Called again when it was supposed to be ready, same thing. Rude. Went back today, against my better judgement. 'Lulu' didn't know what an odometer was. After checking with someone in the back, she came out with a $50 wireless one. I put it on my credit card. The terminal said the sale was $62. She said I must have added a tip (!!!) but she would give me the tip back in cash. She also advised me to 'be more careful next time'. Needless to say, the odometer is being returned tomorrow and I won't spend another dime in that store.

However, later on in the day, someone texted me to find out what I needed and said they had the item I needed. An answering machine would be nice, but cool. Thanks for answering eventually.

Oct 08, 2022 · Luis SernaGood overall experience with customer service. I took my bike in for repair on breaks and bleeding the back breaks. I received the bike with the back breaks working but when I got home and took a closer look before riding it the back break caliper was completely loose basically all the screws were not tightened down. Another thing I did not like is that they didn’t inform me for new parts that were needed and just added them to the tab with out calling before hand.
Nov 21, 2024 · Anthony ADO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!Its pains me to say this but the “Once” great Woodcrest Bikes owner by Bob and Julie is no longer Great anymore.I recently took my son’s Electric Scooter in for new tires. Simple enough. The guy in the back said he could probably order solid tires (if he could get the right size) and my son was excited about that. He told me they’d be roughly $50-$100 so I said ok. After some time had gone by, they call me and tell me it’s ready for pick up so we head down there to get it. I immediately can tell the tires are not the same width and don’t fit right but they assure me they are fine.Here’s where the real problems start. I ask them how much so I can pay and they tell me $260 which of course my jaw dropped. I told the girl behind the counter that I was told $50 to $100 and she then points to a hand written sign behind her that say “$100 dollar charge to work on electric scooters”. Now mind you, this sign was never there before and no one had mentioned anything like this to me. I told them that’s robbery and more than half of what I originally paid for the scooter. They won’t budge so I pay it, reluctantly of course. I did get a call when I got home that they were gonna be very nice and refund me $60 and only charge me $200, which is still a joke.That night my son tells me that when he turns, the tires are rolling and fell like they are gonna fall off the wheel. The next day, that is exactly what happened. So after maybe riding it for a combined total of 1 hour, the back tire rolls off the wheel and it can’t be ridden. So I call them up, tell the what happened and they tell me to bring it in.I bring it in on a Monday. Almost immediately I notice that the “$100 dollar charge to work on electric scooters” is now gone which I find very strange. I leave them the scooter and get a call a few days later saying that they went ahead and put the old tires back on and I can pick it up anytime. What?!?! You put the old tires back on when I brought it in for new tires. So I tell the guy that’s fine and I’ll be expecting my money back which he then tells me that they will not be giving me my money back because of the time they have had to spend and the tires that they can’t return (wrong size tires by the way). So of course, I’m blown away and tell them hell no!! I told him I expect new tires so he tells me that he will get new tires on it.I get a call a few days later that it is ready. I go to pick it up and see that one of the old tires is on the back and a new tire is on the front. At this point, I’m pissed! Oh ya, I notice that the “$100 dollar charge to work on electric scooters” is not there again. So now I know that they only put it up before I came in to originally pay. There is no manager at this point and only the counter girl who says she will have the owner call me about the cost and lack of work done, but of course I never receive a call.I will never do business with this place again and will spread the word to all I know to do the same. Bob and Julie would be so disappointed if they knew how their legacy was being tarnished.
