The store's layout is designed to allow customers to browse comfortably, taking their time to explore different models and envision their next ride.
One of the standout features of Wheel & Sprocket, as highlighted by a satisfied customer, is the opportunity for test rides. It's one thing to see a bike, but quite another to feel how it handles and rides. The ability to test ride multiple bikes, even coming back a second time to try a specific model like an "FX7+S that they had built," underscores their dedication to ensuring customers make the right choice. This hands-on approach is invaluable, especially for those making a significant investment in a new bicycle.
Beyond sales, the service department at Wheel & Sprocket is frequently praised for its excellence. As one reviewer noted, the "Excellent service staff," with store manager Patrick "frequently staffed and keeps a tight shop," ensures that repairs and maintenance are handled efficiently and professionally. This level of oversight and dedication to operational excellence translates directly into a positive experience for customers needing anything from a minor adjustment to a complex warranty repair, like getting a "new one asap" for a warrantied wheel. While some might wish for more top-of-the-line performance parts immediately on hand, the overall commitment to service and getting riders back on their bikes quickly is clear.
Wheel & Sprocket understands that cycling is more than just a hobby; for many, it's a lifestyle, a mode of transportation, a fitness pursuit, or a way to connect with the outdoors. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I went there on Saturday to look at bikes. Had a nice conversation with one of the employees. The showroom floor has ample choices of bikes. I was able to test ride a few. I came back the next Saturday to test ride an FX7+S that they had built.
Apr 13, 2025 · Brian LuedkeExcellent service staff. Patrick, the store manager, is frequently staffed and keeps a tight shop. He helped me with a warrantied wheel and got me a new one asap. I just wish they kept more top-of-the-line performance parts on hand. It's always cool to see the latest tech in person.
Jun 21, 2025 · Jacob DeGrootI’ve bought 4 bikes from W&S over the last 20 years. Always had a great experience. Everyone I’ve dealt with was eager to help. Any service we’ve had done over the years has been phenomenal. We’ve bought 2 e-bikes in the last year and we love them.
Jun 21, 2025 · Ken HerdemanExcellent selection and great service. I was looking for a hitch carrier for my e-bike. Paul took the time to listen to my needs, discuss and show me options, then install it after I had made my choice. Very easy transaction with no sales pressure. Enjoyed the experience and will be back again.
May 23, 2025 · Travis SmyreAfter searching the web for the right bike rack for my car, I always ended up with more questions than answers. I needed to talk to a human being with some real life experience. Aaron was absolutely great. Zero pressure to just buy something - instead, he listened to what I thought I wanted/needed and steered me towards some great choices. The service involved - assembly of the rack and installation on my vehicle for incredibly reasonable price, and a quick demo on how to use the rack - were invaluable to me. I would recommend Wheel and Sprocket to anyone!
