Trips for Kids Bay Area Reviews
Absolutely incredible bike shop! Extremely welcoming staff with an abundance of information! Really cool parts and bikes! I was there for over two hours and got assisted from information to finding parts. I would highly recommend going there if you’re a bike nerd or just looking to buy a bike. Even if you don’t like bikes, you should still go to check it out. I nearly built this Entire Bike, just from parts I bought here!
Jun 12, 2025 · Ari VargaTrips for Kids is an absolute gem. I cam here with a very specific vision for my 20+ year old bike and I got every single part that I needed! Brian is super knowledgable and spent well over an hour helping me find everything for my little project. Prices and advices were excellent. A great environment with great people - I'll definitely be back.
Jun 20, 2025 · Rachel KravitzTrips for kids is an awesome non profit that opens up the sport of mountain biking to children! They have an awesome shop, a great staff and excellent safety equipment! Rides in China camp and surrounding areas like the one that leaves from pickle weed library on the weekends! If you have a child who needs to get on a bike, check these guys out!
Jun 21, 2025 · Paul GittelmanI stopped by yesterday per recommendation from a different bike shop. I didn't end up purchasing a bike but the experience I had at this shop left an impression and I'll definitely be back! Jasper took the time and attention to help me learn how to find a properly fitting bike with attention to posture and comfort. Additionally he highly encouraged that I take a bike on a test ride for at least 15 minutes to take note of how my shoulders and arms felt. I'm grateful for the high-quality customer service, thanks!
Jan 18, 2025 · Savannah StorchJust donated my kids old and broken bikes here and bought two refurbished bikes that not only my 5 and & 8 year old can grow into but I don’t have to worry about them falling apart like the bikes their grandpa bought them at garage sales. The price was less than 300 total for both bikes and they threw in free bells! The customer service I received was above and beyond as they weren’t trying to upsell me but make sure my kids were satisfied and comfortable with the new bikes (and also providing me the option to fix up their old bikes). With my kids constantly growing out of things, there’s no need to spend 500 bucks+ on a brand new bike. This is my new go to place for buying bikes! Thanks you for making this such a lovely experience!
