Whole Athlete Performance Center Reviews
I had already purchased a bike and wanted to find out what small adjustments I needed to make. I was with John for over 2 hours as he measured and watched how I rode on the trainer. He looked at all aspects including my cleats and shoes. His input was fantastic. What's even more impressive, is that I can email questions and he still will respond and work with me. I highly recommend them.

Jun 11, 2025 · Ryan GibneyI strongly recommend Dario Fredrick and Whole Athlete Performance Center if you want your bike to perform at it's best. I took up road biking after many decades of endurance running and coaching, and have had a lot to learn in a short time. For my age, I've done extremely well for my age, but a friend urged me to consider contacting Dario to invest in a detailed bike fitting. Dario addressed multiple things in the course of a detailed study of both the bike, and of me. In the initial fitting he adjusted my saddle position and angle, saddle height from my pedals, the length of my handle bar stem and it's height relative to my position in the saddle (my original reach from saddle to handle bars left me too far forward, causing the front of my bike to be dangerously unstable. He adjusted the spacing, angle, and easy-access of both my hand brakes and my gear changers, allowing me one-finger access. He confirmed that one of my legs was slightly longer than the other and added a special lining in my left bike shoes to compensate for that. And he adjusted the cleat positioning in both of my bike shoes. He coached me to go easy for the following weeks because he noted that my gluts and my hamstrings were barely engaged with the bike fitting I was riding with and I would need to gradually condition those muscles, not go right back to the distance and pace I had been using. After about 3 weeks, he scheduled a second appointment for me (no charge) to make adjustments when I updated him on a few things that didn't feel right.I highly recommend Whole Athlete Performance Center no matter where you purchased your bike, or if you want to purchase a bike that fits you exactly. Dario's and his partner are both well qualified to make your ride what you hoped it would be. I've already urged several friends to make an appointment and do this. It's well worth it. Just know that it's a process. The first fitting is the starting point, and Whole Athlete's experts are there to tweak things if you provide thoughtful feedback.By the way,
Mar 13, 2018 · David DeiganI highly recommend Whole Athlete as a training center. Dario Frederick was recommended to me in 2010 for a bike-fit. After three previous fitters, Dario worked with me to accomplish a perfect fit on my Serotta. IF you are thinking about a new bike, start with Dario. He designed a new Seven to my perfect fit and it is beautiful and comfortable!! Dario is experienced, knowledgeable, communicative, respectful of budget and you as a cyclist, and a pleasure to work with.
Mar 06, 2018 · Elizabeth SimpsonJohn spent 2+ hours working with me and my 2 road bikes. I'd been riding them with improper cleat settings and seats that were WAY out of adjustment. The improvements were immediate. I can't wait to get my bikes on the road. Wish I had done this much sooner. Highly recommended for professional bike fitting!!!
