Hello, Colorado cycling enthusiasts! That's why we're excited to introduce you to **RiNoVELO Bicycle Workshop**, a unique and celebrated local business nestled in the heart of Denver's vibrant RiNo Art District.
RiNoVELO Bicycle Workshop isn't just a place to buy a bike; it's a hub where craftsmanship, community, and cycling passion converge. Launched in early 2013, their intention has always been to create custom bicycles from both repurposed vintage and new factory parts, founded on a unique appreciation for customization and craftsmanship. They're dedicated to breathing new life into older bikes and ensuring even the newest, high-end models perform flawlessly. Their philosophy centers on getting bikes into the hands of people who will genuinely enjoy them, attending to every detail of the build, whether it's a fixed gear, single speed, road, mountain bike, or cruiser. For Colorado locals, this means access to a highly personalized experience and a commitment to quality that stands out from more conventional bike stores.
Inspired by its eclectic neighborhood, RiNoVELO embodies the creative and community-oriented spirit of the RiNo Art District. It's a place where you can feel confident that your bicycle, regardless of its age or value, will receive meticulous care and attention. Their mission extends beyond just repairs and sales; they aim to foster a deep connection with their customers and the broader cycling community, encouraging events like the beloved Tweed Ride. This commitment to both mechanical excellence and community engagement makes RiNoVELO a truly special local business that enriches Denver's vibrant cycling scene.
---RiNoVELO Bicycle Workshop is conveniently located at **3525 Walnut St, Denver, CO 80205, USA**. This address places them squarely within Denver's renowned RiNo (River North Art District), an area celebrated for its street art, creative businesses, breweries, and dynamic atmosphere. Being situated in such a thriving cultural hub makes RiNoVELO highly accessible and an attractive destination for visitors and locals alike.
The shop's location in the Walnut Workshop, a community of artists and creatives, further enhances its unique appeal. What a cool shop super vibey. I like supporting small local businesses and this one really makes you feel like you’re getting a customized experience. And if you haven’t attended the tweed ride, it’s not to be missed in Denver.
Dec 13, 2024 · Mandy Cameron (she / her)Great bike shop. I bought a custom cruiser. Rides great and get compliments all the time. Highly recommend
Feb 05, 2025 · Mike MitchellWent to the address and found no bike shop. Also no one answered the phone or called back. Don't recommend
May 03, 2025 · JadeProof AlonzoThere is no shop and no one to answer the phone. Loaded and unloaded and reloaded two heavy mtbs on my roof rack for nothing
Mar 08, 2025 · Dante YacobucciI recently brought my bike to this business for a tune up. I was given an estimated completion date. When I reached out a few days once this date had passed via phone (both numbers) and via the business' website contact form I had no success connecting with the business (voicemail full, no response to my web message). I tried for a week and finally came across the business' instagram (messaged them there too...no response) and located a new email to contact them by. I received a response that day from the business indicating that they lost a mechanic, hence being unable to honor the completion date we had discussed. I get that - good staff are hard to come by and dates get pushed...However, an actual business reaches out to its customers and is accessible and responsive to customers when they reach out. This business doesn't check either of those boxes. This shop may do solid work (wouldn't know - when I got my bike it was in the back of the shop with a random tire tube hanging on it, clearly hadn't been looked at in weeks) and the guy who runs it seems geniune. Still, if you actually want your work done and have the peace of mind that the business will actually communicate with you - or is even accessible to be reached by you -- then go elsewhere.
