However, it is important for prospective customers to consider the full spectrum of experiences reported by previous patrons when evaluating Gulf Coast E-Bikes. Customer reviews provide valuable insights into the operational aspects of a business, particularly concerning sales, service, and after-purchase support.
One customer detailed a significant challenge with their purchase: "We purchased two e-bikes and a trailer from this shop, spending over $3,300. Despite paying extra for assembly and warranty, our bikes have been non-functional after just about 30 miles of use. The shop has had our bikes for a month today with constant excuses and no resolution. The owner even promised to take them to another repair shop by Wednesday of last week if he couldn't repair them, but that didn't happen. After weeks of waiting and receiving limited communication nearly always initiated by me, we opened a case with our credit card company. After I returned the batteries and tow kit, the owner called and cursed at me, which was unprofessional and unacceptable causing me to hang up the first time. He called back and I expressed that I would speak with him as long as he was not spewing profanities at me. I tried to resolve this amicably, but the lack of service and respect made it impossible. Disappointing experience – would not recommend. It seems to me that it was okay for them to hold items that we spent a lot of money on for a lengthy amount of time but not okay for us to use the warranty and protections provided to us by our credit card purchase. I had no intention I'm leaving a review at all until he called and began yelling at me and cursing." This review raises concerns about product functionality, repair turnaround times, communication, and customer service professionalism.
Another review echoed similar sentiments regarding service delays: "Brought my E-Bike in on a Wednesday to get 1 flat tire changed and brakes checked. Told Richard I was moving out of state in 11 days. I called him 3 times throughout the week asking for a status update. He continued to say he hadn’t had a chance to look at the bike. On day 10 I called to ask for a status update and he said he hadn’t had an opportunity to look at the bike because lots of other people brought their bikes in to get serviced after me. 10 days in the shop and hadn’t even looked at the bike. Horrible service. Don’t go here." This feedback further highlights potential challenges with service efficiency and prioritization.

Mar 28, 2025 · Connor RabinowitzUpdate: The Owner and his wife (I am assuming) were in today. Instead of working with me to resolve my problem (has had my scooter for over a month that had a manufacturer part fail), he confronted me about my google post (asking for someone to reach out to support and provide a timeline of repair) and that I blew up his phone (I left 2 messages over 3 weeks). The owner proceeded to get in my face in a rage and tell me I will never get my scooter back, and to go to best buy (what?). For me to show a receipt (which I did). And yelles at me people have real things they are going through.I totally understand you have something bad happening in your life, but no communication for over 3 weeks makes people concerned...Also, so you are aware. The scooter was purchased for a student, who has had a very difficult life himself (Yes other people also have real things going on). He was suppose to use the scooter so he could transport himself to and from football practice. Football practice started 3 weeks ago. Thats why we are trying to determine a timeline for the scooter. When you say I won't ever get the scooter back ever, you're not stealing from me, you are stealing from a child.I would be happy to remove all of these reviews, and never interact with you again, if you could contact me to pickup the scooter and part from the manufacturer. We will figure out having it fix for the student on our own. You have my contact information if you want to reach out to make this right .
Jun 16, 2025 · Thomas MuirheadHi,Your store voicemail has had a family emergency closing for over a week.I currently have a scooter at your store for repair, with parts that they are trying to deliver. Would it be possible for someone to reach out to me so that I could either have a time-frame of possible return or get my scooter to figure out having it repaired?I totally understand having something going on and hope everythingends up ok with whatever situation you are all experiencing, but is there anyone available for any sort of support?
Jun 10, 2025 · Thomas MuirheadIt's a ripp off. Owner doesn't keep up on his end of the deal. Also he will provok you into an argument so he can illegally Void the warranty. Not counting that on 4/21/25 I stated the fact that the certification of the bike I bought was done incorrectly he screamed at me came from behind the counter and got in my face. Nobody should purchase anything there.
