Around the Cycle Reviews
Wyatt serviced our bikes at at the SGV Mission to Mission event. Although he was new, 3 months in, he seemed very knowledgeable and seemed to be a fast‐learner. He walked us through each step and explained everything very thoroughly.
Jun 23, 2025 · CC PearlI've gotten my bike and my dad's older bike serviced and updated at Around the Cycle. Ryan the owner is very knowledgeable and really cares about his customers. I highly recommend anyone in the area to come here and check out the pre-owned selection of bikes.
Apr 18, 2025 · Craig BeesonI unfortunately have to update my review, as the bike returned to me had its crank arm fall off in traffic. I lost my balance and was almost hit by a construction truck. This was not the first, but one of several sour experiences I had in the short time being a customer at ATC, and I probably wouldn't care enough to update an old post, but almost being ran over has motivated me to do so. Among them, an incorrect component was installed and I was not informed about it until I pointed it out. The shop had me pay again for the part and labor I assumed would be installed the first time. I rarely dealt with same person twice. Anyway I could go on but don't have the energy, really disappointed in the shop and myself with how much time and money I spent there. If you have a lot of money and want a new bike, this shop is fine, but if you're looking for clear communication on service issues I cannot recommend them after the experiences I've had.
Apr 22, 2025 · Victor RamirezUPDATE 2: After a bit of troubleshooting, I found that the magnet that the speed sensor requires was not installed on the rear rotor as it should have been, but rather the front rotor. I simply removed the magnet from the front rotor and installed it on the rear, and voila! E-assist now operational. Everything else PERFECT. Will definitely purchase from Around The Cycle again.UPDATE: 1-star removed as e-assist did not work straight away when I took the bike for a test ride today. It may be because the rear rotor did not come equipped with the appropriate speed sensor. Will update when resolved.Super solid online purchasing experience from Around The Cycle - it's no small feat to build and pre-tune an eMTB, ship it coast-to-coast, and have everything work PERFECTLY right out of the box. No play in the headset, derailleur limits set, perfect shifting every gear, all connections lubricated, dropper housing perfect length, and the list goes on. Loving this Orbea Rise, great work guys!
Jan 24, 2024 · Alan BairleyThis is the best freaking bike shop hands down. Came in for a tune up and of course got the best service ever. My man Sam was absolutely the best. I had 1000 questions and he had 1000 answers with the greatest attitude. My man hooked up my bike, installed a used computer and made all the adjustments on my specialized mtb! I am an extremely happy with my experience and will be coming here from now on and recommending this spot to all my friends who ride!
