AL's Bike Shop Reviews
I took three bikes in for my triplet daughters, and Al’s Bike Shop did an incredible job. Al replaced the tires, brakes, bells, and even the chains, giving each bike a full tune-up. The friendly service here is leagues above other shops I’ve visited. Al took the time to explain everything he was doing and made sure the bikes were in perfect condition for my kids. If you’re looking for a place with top-notch service and attention to detail, Al’s Bike Shop in the Herndon Clocktower is the place to go. Highly recommend!
Oct 31, 2024 · Jacob AyubiI purchased my bicycle from them about a two years ago. Management and the name brand of store changed. The staff remains the same but that’s not the negative as there are none. The people who work there no matter the management are are top notch. From asking for a simple tru to just putting air in your tires. If they ou ask for recommendations for service, they tell you the truth with no BS as their concern is your safety. They are the engineers, we as cyclist are the drivers. The best way to compare is watching Ford V Ferrari.
Apr 24, 2025 · Brian BeachBest bike shop in the area. Always amazing customer service and great prices. I bought two new Giant mountain bikes today, and Colin was awesome! Thanks will be back soon.
Jun 08, 2025 · Muhammad SiddiquiTry somewhere else, it felt like a used car lot. Went in for a new chain, and they found about $270 in potential repairs. Granted, bike needs some maintenance, but it was working. Every time I bring a bike for a chain, they insist O need a new cog. It was a new derailleur as well this time. I told them just change the chain and give me a price for the rest. They gave me the bike without the derailleur cable attached!! Said needed new stuff to fix it. Thank god for youtube, I foxed it myself and rode all weekend.Last time I had a chain replaced, it wouldn't go into highest gear, then chain-sucked in 1st gear.
Mar 02, 2025 · William BlackstoneI bought a used bike elsewhere and took it to Al’s bike shop. Al recommended only the needed services, and charged very reasonably, to get the bike ready for the season. Great customer service and honesty!
