Transitcyces. What can I say that hasn’t been said before from another reviewer? Since I started going into the shop, the state 4130 has been recommended for me, I thought, “but I have a road/hybrid bike, why would I need/want that??”, should’ve listened to them awhile ago about that. Most shops try to finance you for a 3k+ bike, transit try’s to get you the best machine for your needs. What a great bike for a shop to recommend. Especially with the expertise of the team. Anyway, if they tell you to get a 4130, get one.Whenever I’ve had a ridiculous question, the team at transit has always been encouraging and helpful with answering it. Something some other shops have never helped me with. I get most my products from the shop because they make sure you’re comfortable and take their time to explain the use of the products or the practicality.Today I got tubeless tires. We scheduled a week in advance. They didn’t have the “gumwall” tires we’d ordered, and didn’t have the valve stems either. They informed me about supply chain/production issues with these parts and showed me alternatives. For some, that may be an issue, but they’re a shop, not a supplier. They gave me the option to reschedule, but I was too stoked. The mechanic that was working on my bike made the decisions on the stems and tires, and she was spot on about the look of the bike. Happy accident, I like the idea of what was planned, but love this current setup even more. She also did a kick ass job, and with the delays was super quick.Side note: I asked for a place with coffee; they gave me a rec for iced coffee (solid rec), and even CUT the price of the tires. I mean???? What shop would go to these lengths for a simpler job???Anyway, this is my favorite shop. I try to buy from them exclusively because this is the type of shop that will show someone visiting how great Tucson is. Thanks everyone at transit for everything so far!PS: I had been thinking about tubeless for a while. A patron, and Jenna at transit told me it was the way to go. They were both right. I am over the moon! So much so I had to write this novel about my appreciation for the shop. - Gabe Villa
