RC Bicycles Reviews
Came in for a used road bike on a Tuesday with my gravel bike I was looking to sell. Came back on Thursday to get the road bike and Ryan had already sold my old bike, and I was able to use that credit towards the purchase of the new bike. It had been there for ONE day. These guys are incredible. Got a great bike for an awesome price and overall such a great experience. Will definitely be coming back for service and accessories in the future!
May 01, 2025 · Jon O'BrienThese guys know what they're doing, and they're straight-up. I recently realized, after taking an over-the-handlebars digger because of it, that the middle and big chainrings were worn out on my old Stumpjumper, which I use mainly as a commuter. If I applied even medium force to the pedals the chain would skip, and almost always at a bad time. So I ordered and installed new rings and chain (all real SRAM Truvativ parts). To my dismay the bike didn't shift well afterwards, and it "hunted" between gears while just cruising along. Having a couple leaky faucets and a Check Engine light to deal with at home I elected to take it to RC, as they had done an excellent job on a spoke replacement and wheel truing for me a few months back. Man, I'm glad I did. I was met shortly after wheeling my bike in by a mellow friendly dude with glasses and a beard who heard me out and then wrote me up for a general shifting system tune-up. He quoted me $45, which was fine, as being a mechanical guy myself I have a feel for how much effort things like this take to do right. He said they'd have a go at it and call me in the next few days to let me know it was ready. So I left the shop to go get to my leaky faucets. But before leaving I sat in my truck across the street to make a couple phone calls. Just as I went to drive off my phone rang and it was RC Bikes calling to say my bike was ready. The mechanic Eric said it had just been a gross misalignment of the derailleurs. I think I had wrenched them out of place when my chain slipped and snarled a few times, with my full 190 lb weight on the pedals. He suggested I take it for a quick spin to make sure it behaved well under load. Solid as a rock. It was the first time in a month I'd been able to apply full force to the pedals. Then he said it was only 15 bucks because it was a quick/easy fix! So, they had me totally straightened out in about 15 minutes for 15 bucks! Awesome service! Highly recommended.
Feb 24, 2025 · TallColdGlassRC Bicycles was an absolute treat to work with. I reached out to them about supplying rental bikes for a big competitive event, and they offered an amazing deal and a ton of support. They were even able to work with our international visitors. They answered every question we had (even the stupid ones), and they were so kind and personable. I had contacted many other bike shops before them, and nobody else was as pleasant or as quick to respond. Thanks to RC Bikes, our team won the event! Hopefully I never end up organizing this event ever again (Ingress people know what I mean), but if I do, I will definitely return to RC Bicycles for our rental needs. Thank you Ryan and team!(Deleted original review and reposted with correct email address)
Mar 04, 2025 · Marie McDonoughHorrible place. Don't bother wasting your time. Apparently the employees and mechanic DO NOT communicate with eachother or the CUSTOMERS. I was told by 2 different people that my bike would get fixed as i needed and left it there for 3 and a half days. When I called to come pick it up, It wasn't touched and i was told that the service that i needed to have done was not possible or even done there. The mechanic was very nasty, rude and didn't take responsibility or ownership for anything. I was treated like garbage and won't be coming back.
Feb 15, 2025 · Kristina RoweI bought my first bike from Eric. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone interested in purchasing a bike or getting maintenance done.
