North Road Bicycle Imports Reviews
My complaint is not about the product itself, but about the customer service. Better yet, the lack of compassion. My husband purchased a Moulton TSR27 from North Road Bicycle Imports in Yanceyville, NC.He never rode his dream bike as he became ill shortly after receiving it. I contacted Mr. Anderson. I explained our problem and requested suggestions on where I could sell the bike. The bike has never been ridden. EVER!!! Money is tight due to my husband's illness and the fact that I am now his full-time caregiver. Meanwhile, I have a $3000 investment sitting collecting dust. In the guise of doing me a favor, I was offered less than half of what we paid Mr. Anderson months before. You know they will sell it at a profit (again) That to me is GREED. I understand that a business is out to make a profit, but when you have already made a profit what do you have to lose to give someone a hand? I don't know about you, but I like doing business with establishments that care about their customers.
Aug 11, 2023 · Mabel EstremeraGilbert of North Road Bicycle Imports built two new wheels for my vintage Moulton AM7 bicycle. He offered excellent guidance and I was very pleased with his work. I would not hesitate to recommend his services to anyone who seeking parts or maintenance for their vintage bicycle.
Nov 10, 2023 · Nathan ElchertI've bought several items from North Road, including a Pashley bike. Gilbert is a great guy and knowledgeable about bikes that don't involve racing and spandex. It's nice to finally find a bike shop that doesn't think everyone riding a bike is interested in racing. I was very pleased with all my purchases here.
Nov 27, 2016 · Lucky ChowI bought my Pashley from Gilbert about 3 1/2 years ago and initially thought them to be over priced relative to comparable vintage English and Italian bikes. After riding mine for several years I have to say the quality makes the bike worth every penny. I can't think of any other bicycle I've ever had that's given me so much pleasure and satisfaction.
