Jun 01, 2025 · Peter Jon MuellerVery dishonest place. You call and they promise they have a bike for $2400., Then when you get there, they happen to be out of stock of it which they said they have plenty of 30 minutes before, and want to sell you a quick long wait for $3800. I get people in Marín has money, but this is just dishonest.
Jul 05, 2025 · Matt HGreat shop. A big thank you and special praise to a member of the repair shop team, who just rescued a windy but wonderful day on the bike. Flying in to SFO my rear brake rotor did unfortunately get heavily bent, despite being in a bag. So starting on my planed tour I accidentally but luckily did drive by at Mike‘s Bikes of Sausalito. I was immediately helped. The rear rotor was changed, brakes have been serviced in no time and in less than half an hour I was on my way again towards magnificent Paradise Drive. Big thank you!
Apr 26, 2025 · lvr hss (Penna)Approximately at 1:30 today. I walked my bike to my spike. Very leisurely to repair my back tube. When I immediately walked through the door and was walking to the work station. I got stopped by the front counter so he can point out where the work station was. I've lived in Sausalito 12 years. I don't need that kind of direction.Nor did I ask for it when arriving at the counter.I needed a 261.5 tire which is unusual.Add an inliner for a regular stem not a presto. They did not have the tube tire that I was requesting and I told them sometimes that happens. It's unusual for the age of my bike for bike stores to have it.So I asked him for the next big one up.What he gave me was a two point Was Twenty 62 thirty five which is almost three quarters of an inch bigger than I need clearly will not work on my bike. There was a pump at the base of the workstation that I know works because I've been going there for so long. I asked him. Can I use that? He told me there's 2 Violet door and I let him know the 2 by the door are pretty junky most of the time, they malfunction and don't work. He assured me they would.. Proceeded out.Side to put my inliner and figure out.I have the wrong size tube and return it. Got my money back for the wrong size twhen.I was trying to air up my old tube. The young man that stopped me originally was all that 1 doesn't work that well. This one works.Let me show you how it works. I've been working on my own bikes for 50 plus years. No I don't need a kid to show me how to operate a pump.I'm not trying to be rude.I was nice to him and said no.Thank you. So then I walked to the back of the store to use the other pump and I was followed by the little black dog that started barking at me and the other worker was like. Can I air that UP 4 you?I said no I just want to tear it up myself.Thank you.He said.Well you can't use a compressor. I explain to him there's a pump by the register in front of the stand. In the past I've used the compressor I let him know that as nice as possible. The amount of attitude and lack of quality of service at a receive for Mike's bikes. Today is insanely ridiculous. I'm using my own pop. I'm patching my own tire. And all I got was bad service. A refund, broken pumps an attitude.I maintain to keep my composure and be as friendly as possible but trust and believe. That these people don't understand hospitality means to be hospitality means to be hospitable to people. I recommend they look these words up. They're in service of people and the amount of disrespect. I received today to get a tubin in liner and still haven't got is ridiculous.I was in no hurry to fix my bike. I'm still not but think if I was on my way to work. Bad attitude, bad quality of work. Bad ethics. At what point do I want to bring my money to the shop again? When he returned to he's like. Why we don't have a tube for you. Aggressively aggressively, as I was being punished. But have to get the negative stars for the ridiculous service.I was given toda Gave me the wrong tube gave me the wrong inliner.Directed me to 2 broken pumps. When I knew there are broken stop me at the doorway.Stop being when I went in the back to get the pump.Gave me attitude when I was sold the wrong size.Ti can't say they didn't anything right. Wrong tube wrong in lighter.Broken pumps. The worst service i've seen in a bike shop ever and I wasn't looking for much
