So I was working on shopping for my first real road/trail bike and I ended up at Trek because they have a store by my gym… I had my bike all picked up and accessories set aside and asked how long for my bike… 2 weeks, okay that’s fine but in that case I’m going to shop at one other store… I ended up at Erik’s and I’m so glad I did… this BMC is phenomenal and it was on sale because it was a previous model, Great! Also it was in my size and on the rack and that’s a rare find, Bobby and Ben were amazing and despite spending more on this bike than at Trek… I know I got a real gem and a true long term investment, thanks guys!!

I purchased my first e-bike here. They have a good inventory of bikes. They allow you to take the bike for a test ride to make sure the bike is the best fit for each individual person.Evan was fantastic. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond my expectations and made sure I was comfortable with my purchase. I highly recommend Erik’s for your bike purchase.

I visited both Eric's bikes and boards in Madison Wisconsin. One of them seemed to be run by mature adults, the other one seem to be run by mature young adults. I purchased the AVENTON Ramblas mountain bike. I put on a bell, different hand grips, a pump that mounts on the frame, I bought another pump, I purchased the 2 yr service plan, a Osprey hydration pack. When I went to pick up the bicycle I stopped at the other Eric's bikes and boards and I purchased a full-faced helmet, elbow pads ,and knee pads. Then on the way home I stopped in Black Earth and bought a pair of shoes. I want everything dedicated for this bicycle and to be safe. I also stopped at Cross Plains Wisconsin and hit a mountain bike trail . This bicycle will never see a flat Trail. I purchased this bicycle to do mountain biking in the hills of Wisconsin ,Minnesota and hopefully to go on some off-road trails in Colorado. Tim, trevor, and all the people at Eric's bikes and boards are very knowledgeable, they knew of places I could go Mountain biking, they help me out to get to know the bicycle understand it and how to use it. This 65 year old man spent $3,700 on all of the mentioned gear and bicycle and it is the best $3700 I have spent in a long time, it is a investment in me my fun, health, well-being, social outlet, I am also relocating up to Minneapolis St Paul area within a year and they have plenty of Eric's bikes and boards in the Twin Cities area,. I've been a customer with Erik's for about 11 years. Bought both my Specialized brand bikes from them. Great service and helpful advice from staff. Most recently I took my bike to the Madison west side location for service on the drive train due to rough shifting and the chain jumping gears. I picked it up the other day and took it for a two hour ride. It rides like new, really. Buttery smooth and precise shifting. This is the first time in about three years this bike has been this smooth. I was told that one of their master mechanics worked on it which make sense. I have tried other shops when I lived in Illinois and none were able to resolve problems. I will continue to give my business exclusively to Erik's; they do a great job, and the service and staff interaction is wonderful.

To install a tube, they took FOREVER, and it is a simple thing to do, I did it in 5 minutes. Also, they came back saying that something else was now an issue, but it was something they caused.Since it took them like 45 minutes to change the tube, I didn’t want them to take the bike to the back of the store, it would have been another hour and they would have probably not been able to fix it. I had to do it myself instead.If it is a simple think you need to do to your bike, do it yourself, YouTube knows more and you would be more efficient :)
