Colonial Bicycle Company - Portsmouth Reviews
I got a great deal on my new Trek Farley 9.6. This is an amazing bike store with fantastic customer service and a nice inventory of bikes and accessories!!!!! Thank you very much for the great service!
Jun 06, 2025 · shane gronlundSearched the internet to find a specific bike. Colonial had it and Frank worked with me to purchase the bike and then have it shipped. He called to let me know about packaging the bike and when it was being shipped, and when to expect delivery. The bike arrived well packaged, and no damage. My local Trek dealer assembled the bike for me and it’s ready to go. Frank and Colonial went far beyond my expectations, especially because this was a long distance transaction. It was almost as if I was actually purchasing the bike in-person. This is what a great business does for its customers. Frank and Colonial are the best!
Jun 27, 2025 · J & DBike shops, especially in New England are usually quite douchey, so I avoid them! However when I decided to go from MTB to road bike I was in the market for an entry level road bike, I chose Colonial due to their line of Trek products and having normal hours even this early in the season. Upon walking in I was quickly greeted and directed to Colin who got me set up with what he thought would be the best fit for me after a test ride and my bike was ordered and fitted with the additional upgrades I requested and was ready within a weeks time, during my sizing I was again greeted by Colin and given a full fit and adjustments and a chance to ask any questions or bring up any concerns. Overall this buying experience was excellent, I will be purchasing another hike from Colonial in the coming months for my son and also brining in my wife and daughters bike for service. Excellent value and customer service at colonial was my experience and this experience will turn me into a loyal customer. Great work by everyone there and they have earned my first recommendation to anyone looking for a new bike.
Mar 30, 2025 · Steve JedziniakGreat customer service - fast! Ordered a new bike for my son and we had it in a week - fast by my standards (maybe not fast enough for my son)! The staff are all friendly, go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. I highly recommend this shop for anyone - new to the sport and seasoned riders. They have it all.
Apr 12, 2025 · Kate DardinskiYears ago, I visited their shop in Salem regularly and received excellent service. What would have been paid work for free. Yesterday, I stopped into their shop in Portsmouth and they sealed up my tire in a a couple minutes. Wish you guys were still in the area. All the best.
