Encina Bicycle Center Reviews
I purchased my bike in the other store near Clayton, but any problems you have, you can take it to any Encina Bicycle, and this is awesome! After one month using my bike, I had a little problem in the rear wheel, and Everret took take of my Bike in the same moment I got in! The store is amazing, with a lot of options and good prices, they have a rental session outside and also a lot of products on sale with good discounts! If you buy your bike over there, they will take care of you, and my cost was $0!!!Everret was super friendly since the first time we went over to this store. He is an amazing guy, and I definitely recommend you look for him. 5 starts, thanks a lot!
May 26, 2023 · Jeff WalkerBought my bike here so get free servicing but service is so poorly done and so difficult that I'm going to go elsewhere and just pay. To illustrate, I brought the bike in for a standard tune-up and noted that the derailleur needed to be adjusted as I had dropped the bike. They didn't fix it and I had to then get it fixed elsewhere. They also insist that you bring the bike in for an assessment and then make a separate trip to leave it, even if you have an appointment. I have had bikes for 25 years and never had such poor experiences.
Apr 19, 2025 · Kathryn PhillipsI rented a full suspension mountain bike from them while in town for a week and needing an outlet. The rear rim was a little bent which meant it would not hold air long. To make it worse, the stem was in bad shape and did not allow a hand pump to work easily. The flat tire made riding the bike extremely difficult going uphill and moderately dangerous going downhill.I am guessing since the rim was bent, this is likely a problem that has been present for multiple rental cycles and that other people also had no option but to ride on minimal tire pressure. Not ideal for a $100 24-hr rental. I had planned to do 20 miles of riding over two rides but only managed 6.5 miles due to the tire.
Oct 11, 2024 · Daniel BrasuellJust needed a service and boy did they not deliver. My bike had some problems when it went in but I was fine with that. They took breaks that worked great and turned them into expensive calipers. When I asked them to fix it they tried to charge me again, I refused and told them to make it right. They made a sorry attempt at it and I ended up having to do all the work myself. Do not go here, they seem competent but took a great bike and screwed it up.
Mar 12, 2025 · Nono WolfReally knowledge mechanics and fair prices. One of the guy knew exactly what was wrong even before the bike got put on the stand. Fixed up my shifting even though I'm running gears that's way to big for the derailleur!
