I visited the physical showroom in Carlsbad on 6/11/25. It's i large, clean space with a nice variety of good looking bikes. Ryan greeted me and asked what I might be interested in. He asked good questions and considered my answers when helping me focus on a couple of bikes. He clearly knew a lot about bikes and what inventory they had to offer.As for the bikes, I was looking for a MTB. I think BikesOnline has good quality bikes at very good prices for what you get. I can't speak to the online experience, but if you're in the area of the showroom it's worth a visit for sure.

What should have been the exciting arrival of a new bike turned into weeks of frustration, culminating in me having to buy a different bike elsewhere.I ordered a specific bike from their website, but the one that arrived was completely wrong. A simple mistake, you might think, but the process to resolve it was a nightmare. Despite countless emails and what felt like an endless back-and-forth with their customer service team, there was no acceptable resolution. They were unable or unwilling to send me the correct bike I had paid for. The entire process was draining and left me feeling completely powerless as a customer.Frustrated and without the bike I needed, I gave up on BikesOnline and went to a local bike shop. The difference was night and day. I ended up purchasing a Giant Talon 1, and the experience was fantastic. The staff were knowledgeable, I could ensure the bike was the right fit, and I left the store with the exact product I wanted, fully assembled and ready to ride.My advice is simple: do not buy from BikesOnline.com. The potential savings are not worth the immense risk and headache. Go to a local bike shop. You get expert advice, you support a local business, and most importantly, you actually leave with the correct bike. I can't recommend my Giant Talon 1 enough, but the real recommendation is to buy in-person and save yourself the trouble I went through.

Ok, no problem...they threw in a fork pump for the trouble. March 1st rolls around and no bike or no correspondence from them. I sent an email asking about it and was given a new ship date of possibly March 19th.March 19th rolls around and again no bike and no contact from them.I emailed them again on March 25th...nothing. Then tried the 'Support' via 'Chat' (via their text messaging) and was told I would be hearing from them. Waited for 2 days...then tried again. Finally got a call from 'Sales' who tells me that my order is gone, "lost", but, he can give me $100 towards the purchase of a more expensive bike.Wait, what? I was given no reason why, other than it may have been "lost" during their computer system upgrade. Why it was there when they gave me an updated ship date of March 19th, but is now "lost" is a mystery I guess.But, I will be refunded and could spend more money on another bike!It took 4 days to get a response about the refund. I won't be ordering another. 10 weeks wasted.

Status of my order changed from delivered to ready to ship even after email confirmed my order has been canceled already. To talk to someone on the phone is just unreal, do not listen to all this replies from BikesOnline that is lie. Changing my star from 1 to 2, until I get my refundOriginal:My package has been lost. It was delivered to the wrong town, even my shipping and billing address showing corectly on my order. Trying to reach costomer service second day in a row, no response. To connect with a real person is just imposible!! Be aware!!!!!!!!
