RIVERSPORT Trailhead Bike Park

800 Riversport Dr, Oklahoma City, OK 73102, USA

4.0
This place is falling apart left and right, daily. We’ve added this new “mountain bike” addition around the pumptrack and the park constantly erodes, cracks, breaks not even a year into being here. As a long time bmx rider, this place is awful. The management is horrible and does not care to come meet the riders nor hear us when we voice the breakage of the park I’ve passed along to the concession workers (do not punish them for this review). This park is unsafe if you fall, the inconsistencies in the track are bad enough to eject you over the bars and your face into the lips of the jump, and the landings on the pro line all feel like you’re landing on a sponge. There are ruts on “asphalt” landings?!The city spent more time caring about the aesthetics of this place, the fence, the advertisement, etc than the park itself. Noooo rider wants to travel from city, town, or states away to ride this dangerous park. As many bikers do, we travel to ride good parks and trails, there’s no need to travel to visit this place until it’s safe to ride. Yes it’s family friendly, but what about the riders that want to get better at riding? Be challenged? I moved to OKC 4.5 years ago and that decision was influenced by the skateparks here. I know one person doesn’t matter to you, however I’ve been looking into moving solely to ride better parks. This is a joke OKC.Get the people that built this “world class bike park” you guys claim to be out here and FIX IT!!!! I will even help!!!! The whole bmx and MTB community think the same way and would love to help. Hell, I even sweep the “pro line”! - Jacob Hope
