I recently took my 35 year old Alan, Carbon fiber bike, into the Trek store on 82nd Ave, feeling that it was time for bike to be rebuilt. Alan was the first company to successfully weld carbon fiber to aluminum, so the frame is fairly unique. I acquired the frame in 1990 and have put thousands of miles on it! The frame was part of a group of frames left over from Greg LeMond’s team frames, so it’s special to me!The technician, Tennisen Schwartz, did such wonderful work on the bike, that it’s a pleasure to share my experience with fellow cyclists!While discussing the Alan project with Tennisen, he mentioned that working on and rebuilding older bikes is a passion of his. The result of his work, on my bike, is a testament to that!Trek should be proud to employ someone with this level of knowledge and expertise!I will definitely be returning with further business! Thanks for beautiful bike👍

recovering from compound fractures of left tibia and fibula and my surgeons and physical therapy OKed an ebike to rehab the knee n build muscle. Manager Josh at trek Happy Valley set up a mountain bike as a road hybrid and it works great. 5 stars, I even got a deal before the tariffs raised all the prices ! I appreciate how understanding Josh was of my situation and my specific needs, they even delivered the bike ! And the parts needed for my needs were installed for free as I bought them with the bike. Deal all around.

Awesome staff! I took my daughter in today to get a bit of help with tuning her bike and Kyle was an incredible help. He fitted her with a helmet and sent her out with a more appropriate bike to learn on. I have a feeling that my kids will be trek kids for a long time because my daughter can't stop talking about how wonderful Kyle was with his help. He even gave her pointers on gaining her balance. The crew here is fantastic. I highly recommend them.

The Happy Valley Trek shop was great. Everyone I worked with was very helpful and knowledgeable with coordinating a short turnaround repair for a group biking from Austin to Anchorage. Parts had to be ordered and then installed as the team passed through the area. Thanks again to the team at Trek Happy Valley!

I am shocked that this shop has good reviews because I have been here 3 times over 5 years and have had the same negative experience each time.I bought my bike here in 2020. Although I am happy with my bike, I felt that the staff had a very elitist vibe and every person had this "I am better than you" tone when they talked to me. As a woman, I felt talked down to. Then, the bike's brakes were making some weird noises and didn't seem to be working as well as they should, so I took the bike in to have it looked at. Although they said they fixed the issue, my brakes still had the same issue when I took it home (it was hard to tell the issue was still there until I rode it).Now it is 2025, and I was hoping to get the bike tuned up. The shop is about a 3-minute drive from my house, so I decided to check with them about the tune-up. When I went in, now 5 years later, I felt the same way as I did in 2020. The minute I walked in, I did not feel welcome. For context, I am a 43-year-old curvy woman. The vibe and tone of the person I spoke to were not welcoming at all. I asked about the cost of a tune-up, and the person said there wasn't a price he could quote me. While I understand there may be issues that they find during the tune-up that could increase the cost, I feel uneasy that he couldn't even give me a base price. Additionally, the man said that I have to bring the bike in to schedule the next available appointment, which is likely multiple days out. This scheduling process seems out of date and inefficient. Even though this is where I purchased my Trek and it is the closest bike shop to my house, I will never give this store my business again. I recommend training the staff on kindness and inclusivity. If the staff has been trained before, they need more of it.
