Bike Shop At The St. Albans Mini Mall Reviews
I got rear racks here for my bike here. I had to wait a bit but it was worth it he did a great job.
Jun 14, 2019 · Quiet comaFirst and last time visiting this place. Bought my son brand new bike in to replace the derailleur cage plate, he said I needed to replace the derailleur, find he know better, not. The man called two days later saying the chain was twisted, and it would cost $45. I told him no, there was nothing wrong with in when i brought it in. Long story short when I picked up the bike, it was giving a squeaky sound, the chain was not twisted, the handle bars was shaky, the derailleur didn’t match the bike, it was white and the bike is black and blue. Never again, i tried to be supportive to small local business owners but instead he tried to con me for more money and did a horrible job. Now I have to take the bike to be checked out by someone professionally. I can’t have my son ride the bike in the state that I received it. Horrible customer service as well.

Apr 01, 2021 · Walter DantzlerI had a bike tire that needed 2 spokes replaced, so I came here because of all the great reviews. While the actual work on the wheel was good, the service was anything but. When I dropped the wheel off, I was quoted $32 for service and was told it would be ready "in a few days" and that they would call me when it was ready. I waited one week, no word. I figured "ok, maybe they're busy and I'm in no real rush." Another week went by, still nothing. So, I had to take it upon myself to call and find out what was going on. It seemed as though he had forgotten all about me because when I finally spoke to someone, he said it would be ready in 2 days. 2 days later, still no contact on their part, so I had to call back again and was told it would be ready the following day. It was not. I had to call again to find that out. When I finally got a callback (this would be the first time I was called in 2 and a half weeks) I was told the rim was damaged and it would cost more to fix ($37, which is fine, I didn't mind paying if there was more work than initially realized.) So, it took over two weeks for him to actually look at my wheel to see that there was something else wrong, which means he didn't look at it until I called MULTIPLE times to find out what was going on. When I finally picked it up, not only did he round my price up to $40 after all that time, he charged me another $1.60 for a transaction fee.Bottom line, decent work but be ready to wait extended periods of time without communication and beware of fluctuating prices. Will not be going back.
Jun 30, 2021 · Jeremy PersaudO my god. Don’t go there. First say one price and after finishing said more more price. You didn’t believe. He told me first $10 for every point. After that he said $10 for every very screw/nut😡 can you think how many nut in one point? 😡 very very bad people. He will touch unnecessary point and will get charged. And he has no good experience.
