Bike Masters - Queen Creek Reviews
Cannot say enough good things about this location and the help received from Josh. He has patiently walked me through my first major bike purchase and every step after getting it dialed in. Grateful for the above and beyond support and service.Update: service was so great I brought my little man in and set him up on his first Specialized as well! Lifer at this location
Feb 16, 2025 · Nick ConnorAwesome team with a ton of knowledge and patience! I got a new bike and some other gear and couldn’t recommend them enough!
Jun 27, 2025 · Joseph PerryI just bought my first Specialized Mtn Bike from this location. And it is the last. I bought a diff mfg mtn bike from them in 2020.The employees say they are now "Specialized" It's the only brand they sell. The priority issue is, I got a quote to replace a front shock on my other bike, and they inflated it by $150. Now it is $450 to get a front shock and another $100 labor to install it? $550!Called Specialized Corp. zero answer after waiting forever on hold, they have a text option and they answered that immediately. I was declined to have the local rep or Regional Manager contact me. Instead the CS rep made me type out a book on my cell phone about all the issues I have experienced, and then told me the store is an "independant retailer", so they "cannot resolve disputes" but will pass the info to the "dealer relations team". Then I was told to buy the shock from the different store I found it at for the original quote but $35 labor to install it. $335. The same exact front shock, $550 at Specialized and $335 elsewhere. "Go buy it from them"-SpecializedWow, why are you making me type out all the issues, just wasting my time and life away and the whole time knowing that you aren't going to do anything? LAMEWell hmm yeah you bet I did buy it from the other store! And I'll never give another penny to Specialized ever! What's so special anyways? There's way too many other bike mfgs in the world to try out before I go back to this nightmare. I do NOT recommend.Upgraded my tubes in the new Specialized bike, never rode it, storing it in entry way. Ready to ride, nope, flat tire. Pumped it up, nope, won't hold air. The employee said "must have been an old stock tube". He installed another one, but how do I know it isn't crud too? Do we have dates on these tubes to look at?Two elderly ladies came in the store and asked if they do repairs/tune ups, "Nope, not right now, we're remodeling". Sent them 10 miles away passing at least one bike shop closer.I didn't see any remodeling.Put a sign out front that say, "we don't don't do repairs"?These guys put mismatched and different length bolts to attach my rack to my new Specialized bike. It's rattling and scratching up my paint. "Hey can I get shorter bolts for that rack you installed?"-me"No, we don't have any bolts, go to Ace Hardware".-themBut I bought the bike and the rack from you and you installed it".-me"No, we don't sell racks anymore and we don't have any bolts".-themFinally he decided to ask another employee to look for a bolt. Arguing, upsetting me the whole way. "No we don't have any".How are you a bike shop, I'm literally watching you repair bikes, and have ZERO bolts?Anyone still reading this?Thank you, it helps to get texting finger exercise in case you ever have to type a book to a Specialized CS rep and then again to leave feedback because they don't give two pennies about me. BUT they sure like my hard earned money!I recently bought tires, tubes, armor inserts, paid for a tune up, bought a Shimano rear brake. I been spending a lot of dough at this place on the 2020 mtn bike I bought from them. I just bought the new bike. $200 pedals, upgrade seat, bottle holder. Upgraded tubes on that. You'd think they'd take good care of me, eh?
Mar 20, 2025 · NeomaxizondweebyI love this shop! They have taken my Specialized Tarmac and Diverge and turned them into the bikes of my dreams! Their customer service is outstanding and if they don’t have what I need, they place an order and let me know as soon as it comes in. Whether it’s apparel, safety gear, bike parts or anything else, these guys are top-notch! Huge shout out to staff who are some of the coolest guys to talk to and very knowledgeable when it comes to taking care of me and my bikes. Thanks guys! I’m a customer for life! 🤙🤙🤙
Mar 10, 2024 · Tyler CurtisLess than 1 star. Always have had nothing but horrible experiences here. This last one i had was the worst. I needed a warranty claim for my rear shock through SRAM. They assisted, SRAM responded and we sent my shock to them. SRAM rebuilt it, sent it back and Kendall, the only mechanic out f 5 people that work there and he is hardly ever there, got it installed. Test rode in the parking lot, the twist lock out wasn't working, he tightened the barrel adjuster on it and called it good. I left. Went for a real ride and the rear wouldn't unlock and the front fork wouldn't lock. Took it right back to them. He rana new cable for whatever reason.. Clearly it was a problem in the twist lock mech. It worked after he took apart the twist lock to install new cable and reinstalled. Fats forward a month, I've ben riding it and I ride a lot. On Saturday I got a funny squeak. Got back to the truck and noticed one of the bolts that bolt the pivot to the frame had worked itself out and was rubbing on the seat tube. Had the seat tube not been there I would have lost the bolt and the pivot and shock would have been crooked and potentially cracked my frame due to the pressure. The bolt rubbed the seat tube paint off. I took it back to bike masters... for a 4th time and they are undergoing a remodel and the shop manager, Warren immediately comes out and says our service dept is closed and we aren't taking any bikes now. I said well I have a problem due to what Kendal did and this is my 4th time back. He said well Kendal isn't here, bring it back Thursday. I said, you want to even look at what the issue is? He did and said Kendall will be here Thursday and we will have a stand and he can take a look. Thursday comes around, I call... Josh answers. Every time I go int here all Josh is doing is opening boxes. Out of 5 people there, Kendall is the only one that knows how to work on bikes and he's awful at that. So the conversation went like this. Hi I came in earlier this week and Warren said to bring my bike back on Thursday and Kendall can take a look and what he messed up..... Josh says Warren didn't tell you that. I said yes he did. I am the one with the warranty for my rear shock, Kendall has messed up the install 3 times and he told me to come in on Thursday... Josh responds with, Oh yeah Warren did mention you. I said yeah I know he did that what I just told you. Josh responds again...... Well we cant take the bike or any bikes until May 26th... Furious at this point.. They are not owning up to the mistakes they have made, I could have a cracked frame from the pressure pushing against the seat tube and after 4 times of jacking around with these retards, I ended up taking my bike down to Junction Bike Co, where I have been several times and they had me fixed in 1 hour. Bike masters is a complete joke and the people that they have working here are clowns.
